The Chocolix (Os Chocolix) is a Brazilian animated children's series created by Jacqueline Shor, making its debut on the Brazilian version of Nick Jr. in 2018.

Chocoland is a world where almost everything - yes, almost everything, including the people and animals - is made of chocolate. Two kids named Chocolyne and Chocomark Chocolix, and their dog Sweetcookie, have just moved here with their family, and are adapting to being in a new place. Meanwhile, they make new friends, including short but smart Max, and learn life lessons along the way.

In the United States, an English dub of the show is available on Kidoodle.tv, a children's streaming service, and on the premium Latino kids channel Kids Street. YouTube channels with the episodes also exist in Portuguese and English.

The Chocolix contains the following chocotropes:

  • Alliterative Name: Chocolyne and Chocomark Chocolix.
  • Artistic License – Biology: Chocolate is poisonous to dogs in real life. Since that wouldn't make sense for a world where almost everything is chocolate, Sweetcookie doesn't have problems eating chocolate cat tongue.
  • Call-Back: In "The Flowery Fairy", Chocolyne gives a wishing stone she received from Uncle Party to the fairy Flowery, who wishes on it. The fairy shows up again in "An Uncle Who Brings the Party", getting help from Chocolyne, Chocomark, and their Uncle Party to get rid of the nightmares bothering the children; Chocolyne explains the events of the first of the two episodes to Uncle Party.
  • Dance Party Ending: "Chocolele" is a happiness dance the characters often do at the end of the episode. Episodes are inconsistent as to whether they feature "Chocolele" or not, but in almost all cases it appears at the end.
  • Extremely Short Intro Sequence: The intro, which gives the names of the Chocolix family, lasts under ten seconds. Averted as of season 4, which has a minute-long opening.
  • First Day of School Episode: The show's premiere episode, "First Day of School", is about Chocolyne and Chocomark going to the school in Chocoland for the first time after moving.
  • Gingerbread House: Being that Chocoland is made of chocolate and other sweets, its houses are made of the materials as well, with some being shaped like cupcakes, for example.
  • Girls vs. Boys Plot: In the episode "Goodventure Camp", Chocolyne and Chocomark convince Goodventure Camp's visitors to compete in their Chocogames with teams based on gender, and they spend the rest of the episode fighting to win the prize with the clues they're given. They realize neither team got all the clues at the end of the episode, causing them to realize the boys vs. girls thing is a bad thing and set aside their differences to put their clues together and find the prize.
  • Honesty Aesop: "The Blue Chocolate Lake" has Chocolyne and Chocomark not being allowed to go to the Blue Chocolate Lake since it's too dangerous. This upsets Chocomark so much that Chocolyne comes up with the idea to go to the lake with Sweetcookie and Max anyway, but by lying to their parents that they're going to be visiting Max's house, and to the bus driver that Max's parents will be there when she mentions children aren't allowed to go by themselves. This leads to the Chocolix and Max almost melting; the only thing that saves them is that Sweetcookie goes to Chocolyne and Chocomark's house to warn their parents. Lesson learned, folks: Never lie to anyone that you're going somewhere you're not, especially if you've been told wherever you're actually going is dangerous.
  • Level Ate: Chocoland is made primarily of chocolate, though other candies show up too.
  • Multi-Part Episode:
    • The first season finale, "The Chocobeard Treasure", is divided into two parts.
    • The second season finale, "Fun with Responsibility", is divided into two parts.
  • Older Than They Look: Chocolyne, Chocomark, and Max are the same age, despite Max not being as tall as either Chocolix, leading the Chocolix to believe that Max is younger than them when they first meet him. Max explains that there was a big avalanche of chocolate balls in the Chocolate Kingdom when he was born, which directly affected his mother enough to cause his shortness.
  • Pink Girl, Blue Boy: Chocolyne and Chocomark are, respectively, pink-haired and blue-haired and wear clothes with the same colors to match. Chocolyne is female and Chocomark is her brother. Likewise, their mother has pink hair and their father has blue hair.
  • Pit Trap: In "The Chocobeard Treasure, Part 1", Chocobeard's assistants set up traps to keep people from finding their treasure, one of which is a pitfall trap. One of them ends up falling in the trap afterwards.
  • Rubber Man: In "A Magical Party", the Chocolix' party has a magician who brings a bunny named Flex with the ability to stretch his body in any way he wants.
  • Second Episode Introduction: Chocolyne and Chocomark's friend Max shows up starting in the second episode, "Aquarium Adventure", where they find him sitting next to one of the aquarium's fish tanks and agree to be his friends after hearing his story about being born shorter than others.
  • Shout-Out: In "The Truffle Family Arrives at Chocoland", when Mrs. Truffle is explaining how her square eggs come from the Square Kingdom, she's imagining what it looks like. It looks like Minecraft, especially the square person who looks like and has the same clothing as Steve.
  • Slice of Life: While the show has multiple unrealistic elements (they're all chocolate and candy and most have to drink a chocolate drink so they don't melt, a fairy appears in a few episodes), the focus is on the Chocolix' lives.
  • Sudden Musical Ending: "Chocolele" doesn't have any songs preceding it in any episodes where it appears, and usually ends the episode.
  • Team Pet: Sweetcookie serves as one for Chocolyne and Chocomark's group. She saves them on occasions where they're in trouble, such as them nearly melting at the Blue Chocolate Lake and being stuck in a cave.
  • Toilet Humor: In "The Truffle Family Arrives at Chocoland", Max attempts to shove Big Truffle through an opening in a fence so that they can go get square eggs to replace the ones Sweetcookie broke. While he's doing so, Big Truffle passes gas, and the gas happens to reach Max's end, knocking him down.
  • Tooth Strip: The art style gives most, if not all the characters undivided teeth.
