Danger Rangers is an animated EdutainmentShow that airs on Creator/PBS. It features six animal heroes (and one RobotBuddy) who teach children about safety through example.

The series was originally released from 2005 to 2006. It began re-airing on Creator/CBS on September 17, 2011, as part of the Creator/CookieJarTV block, and then on Creator/ThisTV after it got cancelled on that block. However, some of the episodes were DVD specials before then.

* AdultFear: A good portion (if not all) of the episodes feature kids getting into dangerous situations, either by their mistakes or the fault of the villain of the episode.
* BadIsGoodAndGoodIsBad: A group of "tough" biker kids in "Wild Wheels."
* BarefootCartoonAnimal: Most of the cast, although the heroes will wear boots when necessary for safety's sake.
%%* BearyFunny: Burble.
* BerserkButton: Kids in danger is a Danger Ranger team wide one. Squeaky in particular hates it when people ignore clear safety guideline signs.
* CastingGag: This is not the only feline character named Kitty that Creator/GreyDeLisle has voiced.
** It also isn't the first time Creator/RobPaulsen voiced a rodent.
%%* CatsAreMean: Averted with Kitty.
%%* DeadpanSnarker: Squeaky
%%* DisembodiedEyebrows: Several of the characters, including Burble and Fallbot.
%%* ADogNamedDog: Kitty
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: S.A.V.O. calling out a "Safety Alert" instead of a "Danger Alert" in "Wild Wheels."
* ExactWords: A humorous version. In "Safety Rules", Squeaky is checking to make sure all the people passing through an intersection know all the proper safety guidelines, including hand signals. This exchange occurs.
--> Squeaky: Show me the signal for left turn.
--> (Driver does so.)
--> Squeaky: Right.
--> (Driver demonstrates the signal for right turns, sending Squeaky flying smack into a stop sign.)
* FantasyHelmetEnforcement: And you can bet the "bad kids" don't wear helmets. (Though they might wear backwards ball caps.)
%%* GadgeteerGenius: Burt
* InformedSpecies: Sully is supposed to be a seal, but given that he actually has legs instead of tail-fins, he looks more like an otter.
* MamaBear/ PapaWolf: The Danger Rangers. The surest way to get them on your case is to threaten a child or cause a situation where kids could get hurt.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Generally when characters realize the danger they've put themselves or others in, this trope is their reaction.
** Squeaky has this reaction when he accidentally upsets a little girl who's just learning to swim and is feeling self-conscious about it.
** In "Go Games", Burt has this reaction when he realizes that he had taken over the film Junior Ranger Talia was making of the titular event for her school project.
%%* MyGreatestFailure: For Burble, Rusty Ringtail in "Wild Wheels"
* NeverSayDie: Averted. The Danger Rangers frequently talk about how failure to meet safety guidelines could result in death and there's even a song that has this exchange.
--> Sully: Why'd the chicken cross the road? To reach the other side.
--> Squeaky: But he didn't use the crosswalk and that chicken almost died!
%%* NonActionGuy: Burt
* ParentalBonus: The song "Don't Touch That!" mentioned the deaths of Creator/Socrates and Romeo from Theatre/RomeoAndJuliet (although it gets details about both deaths wrong).
* RoadSignReversal: This was used by a kid in a failed attempt at cheating on a race in the episode about pedestrian safety.
* RobotDog: Burt invents one, Sparky, in "Dog Days."
* TheyCallMeMisterTibbs: Type B, with Quentin P. Manderbill, in "Where the Fun Never Stops." "Please, Mister Manderbill is my father. Call me Quentin."
