Western Animation / Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse

Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse was an animated television series which run from 1960 to 1962, created by Bob Kane and animated by Trans-Artist Productions. The title characters patrolled Empire City and stopped villains like The Frog, Professor Shaggy Dog, The Black Cat and others. Courageous used trick guns (either one gun with multiple settings or different guns) to help him.

• Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: In "The Case of the King Size Caper", using a growth ray, Professor Shaggy Dog causes Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse to grow so huge that if they go into Empire City they'll cause tremendous damage.

• The Commissioner Gordon: There is a dog leader of the Police Force that calls on Courageous when there's trouble
• Cool Car: Courageous Cat drives a sleek Cat Mobile that can turn into an airplane and a submarine.
• Crazy-Prepared: Instead of carrying a spare tire, Courageous Cat's car trunk carries a smaller spare car.
• Expy of that other Bob Kane character
• Furry Reminder: At the end of episode, "The Case of the King Size Caper", after the bad guys are locked up, we find Minute tiny after using a few too many reducing pills, and he says that he's so small that he feels like a "house mouse".
• Kid Sidekick: Minute Mouse
• The Load: Minute Mouse has his moments, but in general he is a very ineffective sidekick.
• No Celebrities Were Harmed: The Frog was a caricature of Edward G. Robinson, even with Robison's "see?" Verbal Tic.
