A Christmas to Remember is the first special (second in the US) in the Bob the Builder series.
It's Christmas time, and everyone is excited, especially Bob because his zoologist twin brother, Tom, who lives in the Arctic Circle, is coming home to see him for the first time in years. But things don't go as planned. The new mayor has arranged a Christmas concert of Lenny & the Lazers and asks Bob to take care of the event. Spud is anxious to help but scares Lofty so much that the latter messes with the Christmas tree. And if that wasn't enough, Tom's travel plans are hindered by a mission to reunite a baby deer with her father, causing him to miss the last boat. Can Bob still have the best Christmas ever?

- Big Damn Heroes: Upon seeing Bob heartbroken over not getting to see his brother, Lenny takes Wendy to fly his private jet up to Tom's residence in the Arctic Circle so they can bring him home and Bob can have his perfect Christmas.
- When Lenny cannot sing due to having a cold and a sore throat, Roley convinces John to perform his new song and save the concert.

- Creative Closing Credits: As the credits roll, various pictures of the concert and celebration are shown alongside pictures from when Bob and Tom were kids.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: Despite all the challenges that Bob faces, he gets to have his perfect Christmas thanks to Lenny, Wendy, and Dizzy flying Tom home.
- After scaring Lofty, damaging Town Hall, and breaking and replacing the tree’s fairy, Spud gets a present from Santa (Tom dressed in Bob’s Santa suit).
- It's Been Done: When Roley suggests that Elton John write a rock and roll song about a robin, the latter replies "Sorry, Roley. It's already been done".
- Oh, Crap!: Bob, Banger, and Mr. Bentley’s reaction when the Christmas tree crashes through the window.
- Swivel-Chair Antics: Banger plays around with the mayor’s chair when Bob first arrives at Town Hall. Also, when the tree crashes through the window, the chair ends up spinning around when Banger jumps in to protect the mayor from the falling glass.
- Running Gag: Mayor Ferguson getting Mr. Bentley’s name wrong.
- Banger, the Lazers’ roadie, dropping things and exclaiming, “No damage!”
