Typical Strange is a webcomic that follows the adventures of six friends. The characters ostensibly work at The Movie Pit (or at the nearby Mall or the pizza place...plus Penelope), but often spend their time undertaking bizarre adventures.
It was created by Banes and began in 2011.

Typical Strange includes examples of the following:
- Abhorrent Admirer:
- Abigail and TK both had Abhorrent Admirers in the Hillbillies who wanted to marry them in issue 4.
- TK and Rooster were both groped by Crazy Annie, who smells of pee.
- Wade is this occasionally: To Abigail, to Greta, and several times to Penelope.
- All Love Is Unrequited: Wade loves Penelope. Penelope loves Oscar. Oscar loves Abigail and sometimes wants Harley. Kruger wants Abigail, who is attracted to him but refuses him. Wade also wants Greta, who still wants her ex-boyfriend TK.
- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Penelope
- Deadpan Snarker: Most of the characters.
- Genre Savvy: TK believes he's been kidnapped by a sexy KGB agent. When he learns she's an assassin, he says that's an even worse cliche.
- Halloween Episode
- Love Dodecahedron: Signs of this show up pretty regularly. Wade wants Penelope, who wants Oscar. Oscar wants Abigail and sometimes Harley. Kruger is Harley's boyfriend but is attracted to Abigail.
- Mistaken for Badass: In the issue "POP Goes the World", Kristiana the assassin is drugged and comes to believe that Oscar is a ruthless undercover killer as well.
- The Slacker: Oscar, TK and Harley, and sometimes Penelope.
