This webcomic provides examples of:
- Alien Abduction: Subverted in the fact that it's not humans they're trying to abduct, it's the other aliens. At least until the Chapter six finale where Nova, Dimitri, Franklin and Alma, all get seemingly accidentally kidnapped whilst the aliens were trying to capture Andy, Wec, and Kevell.
- Aliens Love Human Food: Kria with ice cream.
- Alien Among Us: Kevell,Kria, and Andy are all examples of this trope. Being forced to hide from the humans with Nova. They do a relatively good job at it too, until they're seen by both Franklin and Dimitri, and later get beamed away in the Chapter six finale.
- Aliens Speaking English: Every alien in the series.
- Artificial Limbs: Kria has two robotic arms
- Butt-Monkey: Throughout the series Dimitri has been attacked by Andy, put in a fake car crash, is continuously not believed whenever he claims he's seen the aliens, attacked by a cult of sorts (leaving scars on his neck and hands), attacked by Kria, and then gets beamed up into an alien spaceship at the end of Chapter Six
- Camefromthe Sky: Nova initially perceives the spaceship crash as a meteor, but after driving up close to examine it she realizes that it's actually an alien spaceship.
- Casual Interplanetary Travel: The aliens are easily capable of covering long distances of space in a little amount of time.
- Conspicuous Trenchcoat: Nova dresses up Kria in a trenchcoat, so that they can find the missing component for the tracker she's building
- Disappeared Dad: Pallas, Kevell's husband remained behind on his home planet after Kevell was captured. When Kria tries to contact the planet, it's revealed that the civilization was probably erased.
- First Contact: Nova when she meets Wec.
- Group Hug: What Nova, and the other aliens do after it's revealed that Nova's mom died.
- Higher-Tech Species: Referenced when Andy asks Nova "So... have your species developed electricity yet?"
- Humanoid Aliens: All of the aliens we've seen so far.
- Innocently Insensitive: After Andy uses Nova's mom image to convince the humans to leave it's revealed that, she's dead and Nova believes that it's her fault that she died,
- This also happens when after Nova compliments Kevell's outfit he reveals that it's a prison uniform
- Interspecies Romance: What Nova and Kria are building too.
- Unusual Ears: Kria, she's also the only alien with ears.
