It follows the character of Rip Vykirson, a young Raptorian who lives on the planet of Vagary as he trains to become an elite Martial Ranger.
Heavily inspired by old video games, shonen manga like Hunter × Hunter, and heavy metal albums.
This comic provides Examples of the following:
- Animal Motifs: Rip has a dragon motif of sorts with his Dragon Spark ability.
- Expy: Rip is one of Gon from Hunter × Hunter and a far less stupid Asta from Black Clover.
- Nice Guy: Rip's a real good kid.
- The Berserker: What happens if Rip uses his Dragon Spark power too much.
- Mental World: At one point Rip taps into his mind and finds himself standing in a plane of existence known as the Power Sea. This is also where he encounters something living in his mind that's been influencing his power.
- Mythical Motifs: There's a slight Norse Mythology theme running throughout the comic. Fitting, considering it's rock music influences.
- Genius Bruiser: Rip's a pretty good tactician and combatant when he needs to be.
