"The power protects you… no longer!"

Power Rangers: Unworthy is a series of fan-films by Unworthy Productions that began in January of 2019.

A mysterious and powerful villain calling himself "The Arbiter" has been travelling across the multiverse and killing every team of rangers he finds to be "unworthy" and now stands before the Power Rangers of Earth 2-18 with two options: Surrender their power coins or die.

The full series can be found here.

Power Rangers: Unworthy contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Sexuality: The Kim of this universe is a lesbian, as is the now-female Tommy whom is in a relationship with her.
  • Arrow Catch: When Kim fires an arrow to attack the Arbiter, he simply catches and crushes it.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: While Ninjor still has his goofy voice and eccentric mannerisms, he's still far more connected to the Grid than most Rangers as well as being a seasoned warrior, and despite taking near-fatal damage manages to wound the Arbiter enough to force his escape.
  • Crossover: Episode 5 will feature an alternate version of the Omega Ranger from Power Rangers Shattered Past.
  • Darker and Edgier: While the series has light-hearted moments, the stakes that present themselves and the body-count are undoubtedly higher than the canon.
  • Decon-Recon Switch: Unworthy shows the results of a multiverse of infinite possibilities and how even the most pure and incorruptable of heroes could become the worst monsters of all. Yet in spite all that, the best of us still stand for what's right.
  • Expy: Fittingly Venjix's new body makes him look a lot like Ultron.
  • The Multiverse: While not a new concept in Power Rangers, the multiverse plays a central role in the plot of Unworthy.
  • Not Quite Dead: Venjix.
  • The Worf Effect: Lord Drakkon, one of the most powerful beings in the comics is easily dispatched by the Arbiter in the first few minutes of Episode 1.
