Welcome to the Slingshot Channel!
JoergSprave, also called the Slingshot Channel, is a Youtube channel featuring the various slingshots, crossbows and other inventions of weapon enthusiast Jörg Sprave, as well as occasional reviews of professional products. Many of his creations are made of plywood and feature rubber bands, though this is not universal, and several of them involve using Abnormal Ammo such as playing cards or Oreos.
Though Jörg is German, the channel’s uploads are mostly in English.
This show provides examples of:
- Abnormal Ammo: A common feature. Examples include hex nuts, black-powder arrows, and slingshot bullets made of gallium
that shatter on impact. - Automatic Crossbows: Jörg has a fair number of repeating crossbows to his name, including one fed with Garand-style en-bloc clips, a fully-automatic model powered by a cordless drill, and a replica of the "machine gun bow" from Robin Hood (2018).
- Analysis Channel: When not showing off his inventions, Jörg examines and reviews bows, knives, and similar sporting gadgets.
- Big Fun: Jörg has an unmistakable hearty laugh, especially when shooting things.

- Determinator: In December 2020, an accident left Jörg with the broken tip of a drill bit inside his hand, which he proceeded to hang a magnet from to prove it. He then proceeded to cock a sawn-off pistol crossbow with a draw weight of 260 pounds with the same hand.
- Enhanced Archaic Weapon: The Instant Legolas and its variants serve this purpose.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: The "Dagger of the Pure Evil" video released in August 2021 has none of Jörg's trademark jollity. It examines an SS dagger and some modern Suspiciously Similar Substitutes, as well as Jörg's grandfather Wilhelm, a coal miner who was Press-Ganged into the SS months before the end of World War II. Notably, Wilhelm was not a willing Nazi, as he was a member of the Social Democratic Party until the Nazis outlawed it in 1933, and was captured by the Allies as a prisoner of war while he was still in training.
