The Area Unknown SMP is a private, modded Minecraft multiplayer server run by guqqie
. It features several prominent Minecraft YouTubers and streamers, especially from the Bear SMP, the Outsiders SMP, and other adjacent series.
The Area Unknown SMP began on June 10th, 2022, and is currently ongoing.
The Area Unknown SMP contains examples of:
- Big Bad: ARG!Guqqie/Hera, who makes it her goal to destroy any chance of Aimsey and Guqqie getting together.
- Big Brother Bully: To say Scott doesn't treat Aimsey too well would be an understatement.
- Clone Angst: Guqqie is actually a clone Hera made to replace the original Guqqie, whom Hera killed to make it easier for her to be in the world.
- From Beyond the Fourth Wall: Scott's stream chat, for when he did livestream the series, manifests as the souls trapped in a soul lantern he carries around with him.
- Star-Crossed Lovers: Aimsey and Guqqie make it their goal to defy this when they realize all the other timelines (i.e. SMPs) had their relationship turn out badly.
