Willow Hill Asylum is an Original Character Tournament hosted on DeviantArt. The nightmare inducing group was founded early spring in 2011 by Invertedmind-inc and is judged by the following, Dr. Lucien, Donnovan, Hells-Reaver, Rose, The Gardener, Avul, Abby.

Acting as the tie-breaker judges are Yi Wan Xu with Dr. James Roark.

Willow Hill OCT concluded in September 2012.

The setting...

• Bedlam House: Hospitals are generally expected to be sanitary. Willow Hill, however, is not.
• Don't Go in the Woods: There's a serial killer on the loose, nothing to worry about.
• Ghost Town: The town outside burned down a long time ago.

Dr. Greta

• And I Must Scream: The Puppet feeds information about everyone into Dr. Greta's head using their darkest fears, and nightmares, which in turn, gives her nightmares.

• Broken Smile: Doctor Greta has one. No matter what.
• The Insomniac: It's been stated that Dr. Greta can't sleep.

• Friend to All Children: Stated on her bio to be one.
• Living Doll Collector: The other Dr. Greta was one. Emphasis on the "was".
• There Are No Therapists: Except for her for the last five years.

Contestants (As a whole)

• Canon Discontinuity: Many contestants have stopped contributing to move on to other things.

• Our Demons Are Different: There's about ten of them. None fit the "big, red and on fire" description.

Individual Contestants

Ryan Black, Emma Dawn, and Midnight

The Ripper

• Serial Killer: His past consisted from being a mild-mannered pianist, to becoming an homicidal maniac.

Violet

• Official Couple: Her and Anthony Cherry. She was very negative about it at first, then, she started to tolerate him.
• Took a Level in Badass: From a depressed child to a main character with her own small fanbase.

Sheri Ducat

• Butt-Monkey: Her creator put her through hell, in one side-story. It all started with a Love Potion...
• Familiar: Pooka, her demon cat-thing.

Roy Armour

• Artificial Human: Grew up in a tube, has nanobots in his body, and can shoot Red Lightning.
• Lightning Bruiser: In the literal sense, as in he shoot lightning from his fists.

Roy Booth

• They Called Me Mad!: He is, and doesn't want to admit it.

Pip and Phaint

• Living Toys: Phaint is a bear, and Pip is a cockatiel. With wings of steel.

Bernie

• He Who Fights Monsters: He is part of a Paranormal Containment Department.
• Not Quite Dead: That's not a glow-in-the-dark skeleton.

Kenny

• Properly Paranoid: Scared of people, his own self (which houses the spirit of a self-burning mage), and not wearing a hat.

Baiulus

• Our Dragons Are Different: He's a Dragon Mage who can take a human form.

Luna

• Berserk Button: Comparing her to Sailor Moon, Vocaloid or using the "M" word is enough to drive her crazy

Jack

• And I Must Scream: He had reccurring nightmares of the puppet, and is very afraid of puppets, which brought him to his downfall
• Creepy Child: He, like Greta, always smiled, until...
• Dropped a Bridge on Him: It was actually a chunk of the Nursery Wing, and it was his own doing.
• Voluntary Shapeshifter: His arms are made of a sharp stone which... changes shape.

Myles

• Private Military Contractors: Myles is a mercenary by trade.
