Channel Virus
was the concept for an Original Character Tournament hosted by MrPr1993. In the story, the Channel Master was attacked by a virus, which multiplied, entering most of the worlds in the Channel Realm and infecting them. The Channel Master summoned eight helpers to find heroes to destroy the virus plague before it would destroy the Channel Realm.
After spending time after its founding in Development Hell, the group for Channel-Virus-OCT was deactivated when an attempt was made to remodel the tournament as The Channels OCT. Although the reboot yielded a roster and a Round One, it eventually became defunct as well.
Tropes found in the original OCT:
- Darker and Edgier: On certain worlds, the story becomes more darker and grimier. This can mostly apply on the world "Last Aid".
- I Know Karate: The characters gains kung fu while in Fist of Vengeance.
- Man of Wealth and Taste: Morgan gets easy money by scamming people with useless items. He can panic if his suit gets dirty.
