The Hero Academia Prom Princess: The Movie is a 2019 fanmade GoAnimate movie based on the anime My Hero Academia. The project was uploaded on December 2, 2019 by a user named JacobThePokeGuy. It also features characters from Hey Arnold!, Total Drama, Rick and Morty, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, Ducktales 2017, Pokémon: The Series, and more.

The Hero Academia Prom Princess provides examples of these tropes:

  • Accidental Pervert: Ivan Yuanata accidentally touches Toru Hagakure's breasts, unaware that she is naked.
    • Earlier in the movie, Rick Sanchez accuses Morty Smith of acting like Harold from EllaFTW SugarFTL's Character Elimination series by playing with Mina Ashido's feet. Morty justifies that Mina wanted to have her toenails painted.
  • Adaptation Personality Change: As a Jacob The Poke Guy project, Justin, Harold, Sid, and Stinky are more perverted than how they were in their respective shows.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Katsuki Bakugo becomes just as evil as Tomura Shigaraki, the Big Bad of My Hero Academia. Heck, he even conspired with Shigaraki, Sid, Stinky, Justin, and Harold to kidnap the Class 1-A females and make them miss prom.
  • Adapted Out: The only students in Class 1-B to appear in the movie are Itsuka Kendo, Kinoko Komori, and Pony Tsunotori. They do not mind losing the raffle since their class has 7 girls (including themselves).
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Bakugo, Shigaraki, Justin, Harold, Sid, and Stinky build a Mecha Boris the Teeth Guy as an act of revenge towards Jake Ryan and the females of Class 1-A.
  • Big Bad: Bakugo counts as this since he initiated the plan to get revenge on Jake Ryan by kidnapping his female classmates.
  • Big Damn Heroes: During the climax, the male users that were participating in the prom dance competition (Dakota Hornsby, James Wright, Alex Kimble, Andrew Layden, Ivan Yuanata, and Jacob Torres) develop quirks that were given to them by their dance partners as a gift of gratitude. This proves helpful in the final battle, as...
    • Andrew used his acid quirk (from Mina) to open the door to the Mecha Boris the Teeth Guy.
    • Jacob uses his tongue (as part of his frog quirk from Tsuyu Asui) to stop Harold and Sid from touching Tsuyu's feet.
    • Dakota uses his Zero Gravity quirk (from Ochako Uraraka) to make Justin and Stinky float.
    • Alex uses his Creation quirk (from Momo Yaoyorzou) to free Tsuyu from being harassed even further.
    • Ivan uses his invisibility to become naked like Toru and free the rest of the Class 1-A females.
  • Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Three of the girls from Class 1-B: Pony (blonde), Kinoko (brunette), and Itsuka (redhead).
  • A Day in the Limelight: While Izuku, All-Mightnote  and Shoto are the main heroes of My Hero Academia, the female students of Class 1-A are the main protagonists of the movie.
  • Demoted to Extra: From Class 1-A, we have Rikido Sato, Hanta Sero, Mashirao Ojiro, Mezo Shoji, Yuga Aoyama, Eijiro Kirishima, Koji Koda, and Denki Kaminari, who remain silent throughout the movie. Even the males of seats 1-10 are Out of Focus when Jake and Melissa Shield has the females draw an address from the raffle hat.
  • Full-Frontal Assault: Ivan joins Toru in stripping down in order to attack Justin, Sid, Stinky, and Harold and rescue her friends.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: In the actual show, Bakugo bullied Izuku "Deku" Midoriya for being quirkless. In the project, Bakugo is zapped quirkless (along with Shigaraki) when Alex uses his mirror to deflect the effects of the Quirkless Ray back to Bakugo and Shigaraki.
  • Never My Fault: Bakugo blames Jake for getting him expelled, even though the troubles were started by Bakugo himself.
  • Rage Breaking Point: After being zapped quirkless, Bakugo turns into a Mecha Bakugo and chokes Jake. Kiawe also turns into one after seeing Bakugo choke "one of Jacob's friends". The Mecha fight is soon stopped by Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna, who was gathered by Twilight Sparkle.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Bakugo is this when Justin, Sid, Stinky, and Harold sing "Baby Shark".
  • Unstoppable Rage: Bakugo is this before and after he is zapped quirkless. See Rage Breaking Point.
  • Villainous Breakdown: After Bakugo zaps himself quirkless, thanks to Alex Kimble creating a giant mirror to prevent him, James, Andrew, Ivan, Dakota, and Jacob from losing their newly-acquired quirks, he takes his anger out by becoming a Mecha Bakugo and chokes Jake.
  • Writers Cannot Do Math: When Itsuka, Kinoko, and Pony buy boots from a nearby Famous Footwear, the store was having a 30% off sale on $80 boots. They spent $72 on 3 boots (or $24 per pair of boots). In reality, 30% off of $80 should be $56. However, the creator meant to say that the $80 boots were being sold at a 70% discount.
