WMG / Why Women Kill

Go To

    Season One

At some point, the women will meet.
By the time of Taylor's story, Simone is almost certainly still alive, and Beth Ann might be, too — albeit in her old age. It's possible, and it'd be intriguing to see how they all react to one another.
  • Sort of confirmed; we see the chain of owners of the house, as an old Beth Ann sells the house to Simone and an old Simone sells it to Taylor and Eli.

Taylor will find the bodies of Simone and/or Beth Ann's murder victim(s) buried underneath the house.
Possibly while hiding a corpse of her own.
  • This seems Jossed going by the opening of episode two, it doesn't seem like the bodies were hidden.

One of the main three won't actually kill anyone.
Another woman in their story will. My bet is that instead of Taylor, Jade will murder Eli.
  • Sort of confirmed: Beth Ann doesn't kill Rob but manipulates Ralph into doing it, having him be arrested and sentenced to death for his murder. The second sentence is half-confirmed, half-Jossed; Jade tries to murder Eli but fails, and Taylor ends up killing her.

Had Rob been honest with Beth Ann, he might not have died.
Specifically had he been honest the night he died, when Beth Ann asked him for the final time if there was anything else he wanted to tell her about Emily's death. Had he finally been willing to own his mistakes and confessed to Beth Ann, she would've given him the loaded gun, thus giving him at least a sporting chance at protecting himself from Ralph. Had Ralph been the one that was killed, Beth Ann and April would've easily been able to testify that Rob acted in self-defense, so he would've gone free — likely with Beth Ann leaving him regardless, since she was planning to even before she found out the truth about Emily's death. But still, he would've at least been alive and been able to meet his and April's daughter. But instead, he chose yet again to cover his own cheating ass, so Beth Ann sent him to his death without regret.

Edmund Harte only married Naomi because he wanted have a kid before he died.

Simone and Amy reconciled following Karl's death.

    Season Two
Season 2's narrator is Karl's ghost.
  • To the point a You Tube commenter said that they imagine Rita running away with Bertram and having Karl, who inherits his father's accent and mother's sass. Granted it wouldn't fit in with the fact that Karl was well into his 40s in 1984 and the events of Season 2 take place in 1949-1950.
Scooter is Jade's biological grandfather.
  • Just throwing it out there due to their actors being siblings. Scooter probably only slept with Jade's grandmother as a fling and didn't even know she was pregnant.
The Garden Club was dissolved as a result of Alma's scandal.
  • The press dubs Alma the "Garden Club Killer", linking her crimes with the club.
