This may give some explanation as to why Kisaburo is always getting into fights with his two older brothers and other kids and consequently, gets dirty and roughed up enough to have to try and discreetly enter the house or try to run away without his parents or grandmother noticing and get his siblings (especially Kayoko) to help him.
