The Robot Jones robots are prototypes for SIR units.
- They honestly look quite similar in appearance (and stature).
- Assuming the Robot Jones earth (Earth-RJ) is a different planet from the earth Zim gets banished to, here's how the whole prototype story plays out. The original Robot Jones is used to collect data on and learn from middle schoolchildren, so that other Robot Jones robots with a similar AI can be sold to the public and be used as chat buddies designed to be relatable to said middle schoolchildren. Some time later, the Irken invade Earth-RJ and modify the Robot Jones robots to be obedient servants to the Irken invaders (SIR units). Some of the Robot Jones robots went rogue, so they have been modified to be unintelligent so they couldn't rebel (Zim's GIR unit).
Possible fates for Shannon if the intended series finale was made
- Shares the same fate as the other humans.
- Forced to be Robot's girlfriend, lest she share the same fate as the other humans.
- Forcefully turned into a full robot.
