WARNING: May contain unmarked spoilers for season one! You Have Been Warned!

Possible storylines for season 2
  • The season will either follow the band on tour or cut back to their return to LA.
  • Animal’s birth parents will be expanded upon, much like Gonzo’s origins in Muppets from Space. Likewise, Janice will go on a quest for her long lost sister.
  • Rowlf the Dog will make an appearance to jam with the band.
  • Betty, the girl from Janice’s story, will return for vengeance against her and to try and steal Floyd back.
  • Scooter makes a guest appearance and is very passive-aggressive about Nora replacing him as the band manager.
  • In the garden finale, Kermit finally shows up and demands to know where the band has been.

Possible Spin-Offs
Given that executive producer Adam F. Goldberg wants to make a Muppets Shared Universe to rival Marvel and Star Wars, there are plenty of possibilities:
  • Pigs in Space staring Ms. Piggy, Link Hogthrob, and Dr. Strangepork.
  • A sitcom in the vein of Seinfeld starring Fozzie Bear.
  • A science fiction show starring Dr. Bunson Honeydew and Beaker.
  • Veterinarian's Hospital, the continuing stooory of a quack who's gone to the dogs.
  • A show about Robin the Frog attending a school, where he's part of a drama club that's preparing to put on Manhattan Melodies.
  • A show about the Swedish Chef teaching a cooking class made up of both humans and new Muppets who all prove to be much better than him in the kitchen. One of the human students will be an actual Swedish person (played by an actual Swedish actor) and regularly point out that the Swedish Chef isn't really speaking Swedish.
  • Talking Houses, a sitcom starring an unwitting family who move into one of the Talking Houses and their neighbors who live in the other ones.

Possible celebrity cameos.
  • Tenacious D, with Jack Black making special mention of the time the band and the others kidnapped him and how he was Animal’s sponsor during their anger management classes.

Betty is Janice's twin
We're never given a name for Janice's twin sister, or a reason for their estrangement, only that she's out there somewhere. In a later episode, Janice tells Nora about a hippy girl called Betty torn between two loves, only for Janice to swoop in and claim Floyd for herself, and that the last Janice knew Betty was now a bag lady. Is it possible that Janice fell for her sister's suitor and that was why the sisters fell out?

Janice's allergy....
...is not triggered by acting or singing. To quote Picasso "Art is the lie that tells the truth." While he may have been thinking about painting, "art" can apply to any expression of creativity. Janice can dress up like a nurse and refer to Rolf as "Dr. Bob" with no ill reaction because they're doing a spoof on medical dramas and humorous commentary on modern healthcare. She can, for example, listen to or perform the song "It Never Rains in Southern California" because it's not a weather report but an expression of disillusionment and disappointment, real feelings that everyone has sometimes. The only explanation to how Janice survived being in the presence of Constantine would be that Muppets Most Wanted was an out-of-universe movie the Muppets did. (With a cousin of Kermit's playing Constantine as suggested in one interview)

The leader of the Beliebers is actually Becky from The Muppets (2015)
After she broke up with Fozzie (has he ever mentioned her since that series was cancelled?) she dealt with it by throwing herself into a music obsession. "Justine" is obviously a name she took in honour of her new hero.

The series takes place very shortly after Meet the Feebles
For context, Meet the Feebles ends with main protagonist Heidi shooting up the entire theater, with only herself and five others still alive after it's all over. Heidi was sentenced to ten years in prison before eventually being rehabilitated back into society under a new identity. Given how the Electric Mayhem act as though the event was recent, as well as there being no specified time frame between their last meeting with Peter Jackson during the Feebles' final performance and their reunion in the series, and it's safe to assume that Meet the Feebles, or at least the Muppets' version of it, happened less than ten years ago.

That being said, it's likely that Meet the Feebles happened very recently, given how it's specified that all but two of the remaining Feebles are in prison. Sidney could potentially be charged with animal abuse due to his use of a whip during his act, and if you consider them to be part of the Feebles, Arthur did accidentally kill Sidney's pets, Sebastian did get Seymour to be the part of Wynyard's assistant despite the clear danger, and both Arthur and Sebastian were part of the production staff, which in turn can lead to both being in prison for criminal negligence due to everything that happened. Given how all of these are much lesser crimes than the massacre, it's likely that they would've gotten out much earlier than Heidi, meaning that The Muppets Mayhem would have to take place shortly after Meet the Feebles.

Robert and Lucille are the two Feebles in witness protection
Relating to the above, Robert and Lucille the only two who didn't do anything illegal, nor had any ties to the staff's shady dealings, likely due to Robert being a new addition to the cast and Lucille playing a minor role in performances. That, combined with Lucille being extremely close to being shot without Sidney's strength or size to protect her and Robert's intervention helping to stop the madness at the end, seems to point to the couple being the Feebles mentioned to be in witness protection.
