Carter and/or Veronica will be love interests.
The book mentions that you will eventually be able to steal members of Poppy's inner circle away from her and turn them to your side. For Carter, it makes sense that you would also be able to steal Poppy's boyfriend away from her and make him your own. Veronica could also be hinted at being a love interest since she is on the cover along with Zoey (a confirmed love interest), and she is introduced with a full-screen image.
  • By the end of Chapter 4, Poppy dumps Carter for daring to help you (and is especially pissed off if you kissed him), so him becoming a love interest seems more likely now.
  • Quite likely since Chapter 11 allows Bea to have sex with Carter, Veronica, or both!
    • Jossed. There are hookup options in both books, but neither becomes an actual love interest.
The mastermind behind the T is...
Sure, all messages sent to the T are supposedly sent in anonymously, but it's possible that it is being ran/maintained by a multitude of characters:
  • Professor Kingsley: The professor is doing researching and writing a paper on power structures in universities. What better way to gain intel than being behind a social media network like the T, despite claims that they don't care about gossip and drama like that.
  • Zoey: Your roommate is very eager to befriend you and get to know you. She's usually the first person to notice when the T has updated, or is the first person you talk to after a ranking update.
  • Poppy: Besides having loads of money and connections, it's possible she's able to stay number one in the ranks for so long because she's behind the website. It would also explain how she's almost always one step ahead of Bea and able to spread rumors or attempt to foil her plans before they're about to happen.
  • Benji: He's the RA of Bea and Zoey's building, but pretty much out of the radar of the other students due to his low rank. It's possible he's created this website in the hopes that one day somebody would come along and shake up the school's order. He's pretty much Bea's number one fan, as well.
  • Chloe: Chloe can be referred to as the "dumb blonde" throughout the game, so a clever subversion of the assumptions would to have her be the one running the T. It would also allow her to be The Man in Front of the Man since she and Poppy have been friends since freshman year, hiding as her #2 lackey and giving Bea the means to take her down.
  • Veronica: She actively mines the Poppy-Bea drama for her personal blog, so she may be using the T to create the drama that her blog feeds on.
  • Taylor: Being a low-ranked whipping girl for Poppy and Chloe puts her Beneath Suspicion while she has the biggest dirt on everybody in the school from top to bottom. She has access to the Top 10 by being a pledge in Zeta House and the triple digit students by being one.
  • Nobody. Just like everybody claims, the T is truly just an anonymous website not ran by anybody affiliated with the school.
    • As of Chapter 10, all of the above are jossed. The editor of The T is a student named Thomas Stiles, who before Chapter 11 was seen, but Bea hasn't met yet. Surprisingly, he hates Poppy too.
Professor Kingsley will eventually have to choose between desire for Bea and honor/duty for their job.
They've been portrayed as incredibly moral and bound by honor and duty for their job. Eventually, Professor Kingsley will have to choose between following their heart and pursuing a relationship with Bea, or giving her up for good and choosing their job over her.

The person who posted the picture of Ian/Ina and accused/told the T about the relationship of Bea and them was not Poppy, but Lexi Montgomery
  • Sure Poppy is evil and her humiliation of Zoey was disgusting, racist, and wrong. And sure, she'll likely use the information posted on The T to her advantage. But maybe, just once, Poppy wasn't the one to try and ruin Bea. I mean in Chapter 12, Lexi Montgomery was very scarily possessive of Ian/Ina. It is almost, if not just as disturbing as Benji's stalking/harassment of Bea, as the meeting with Bea in the bathroom she was saying things about Ian/Ina that have a stalker undertone. And while she did tell Bea she wouldn't ruin Professor Kingsley's career, that might've been a bluff to throw her off her trail. She may think if she posts anonymously, it won't be traced back to her, and think that it will either make it easier for Bea to become expelled making her not be "in the way" of her and Kingsley. And if it does happen the Ian/Ina gets fired due to that, she may think she could use the unfortunate circumstance she created to be a "shoulder to lean on" for Kingsley.

Con-damn-firmed!

The mysterious X is...
The end of Book 1 introduces a mysterious person that goes by X, who locks Thomas out of the T and posts the picture of Professor Kingsley and Bea at the conference. However, who could that person be? There's a lot of potential suspects, both currently known and not known yet:
  • Lexi Montgomery: See the post above this for more details, but Lexi has a lot to gain from getting Bea possibly expelled, Kingsley fired and more. She hasn't been seen since the conference and has had plenty of time to plot behind the scenes.
  • Benji: Benji has been shown to be a stalker before. Even though he's been expelled, it's possible he's still trying to influence his old school and try to take Bea down as revenge. Besides, he's also a hacker, as he once did it with the student rankings to unseat Poppy and place Chloe on top.
  • A new student who wants to follow the Bea's path to number 1: It's possible that somebody is about to transfer to the school and wants to take out the competition (aka Bea) before they get there.
  • Poppy: Poppy has shown time and time again that she doesn't mind flip-flopping on her feelings about Bea whenever it benefits her. It's possible she's behind X just to mess with Bea further.
  • Persephone Dalton: The girl who was forced to drop out of school after Poppy had somebody drug her and make her parents think she was an alcoholic, who will come back with a vengeance and take down Belvoire's trash student body for what they did to her.
  • Selene: A (seemingly) Naïve Newcomer who's not as much of a pushover as you'd think, and has been compared to Bea back when she was a new student. In Book 2, Chapter 8, it's mentioned that X is a Social Climber and was there the night of the murder mystery challenge, both of these things apply to Selene.
    • In Chapter 13, X is confirmed to be... Persephone! And what's more, in the next chapter, it is confirmed that she and Selene are one and the same!

Selene IS Persephone
Thanks to the picture we found of Persephone, there’s a striking resemblance to her. It’s possible she got a make over to hide her old identity and get back Belvoire.

CON-FREAKING-FIRMED!!! She disguised as Selene via plastic surgery.

Poppy is a closeted lesbian.
All her relationships with men are shown to be strictly for show. Book 2 Chapter 6 shows her to be horrible at flirting with guys. However, she shows complete confidence when flirting (and hooking up, if the player chooses) with Bea.
