Neville Montgomery will be the Big Bad of Season 3
- The usual Strictly Formula episodic nature of the show is averted, when Derek, the fixer, is killed in prison after promising to turn over evidence showing Neville's culpability in a number of civil torts and criminal offences. This suggests a longer plot arc involving him as a recurring character, in which he will prove to be behind other murders that Angie Flynn and Oscar Vega have to investigate.
- Possibly confirmed. Angie receives a gift from the Montgomerys and takes the occasion of returning it to probe a little more into whether or not Neville might have ordered a hit on Derek. Also, Angie gets told by Maria, the fiancée of Neville's son, that she thinks she has proof that Neville ordered the hit on Derek.
- Actually he turns out to be less of a Big Bad in the sense of not being a Moriarty-like figure, but is part of a season-long plot arc.
Oscar Vega has cancer
- Vision problems and the occasional headache? Sounds like a possible brain tumor.
- Confirmed (ish). His original diagnosis was for Grave's disease, but he has since been found to have a possible thyroid tumor.
Angie will go back to Vancouver and work for Oscar's society
- They've been friends too damn long not to want to work together.
