Darkseid will be the Big Bad of Lego Batman 2
Why? Solely because it would be amazingly awesome.
  • Jossed.

The Bat Bunker will be the heart of the hub for Lego Batman 3

Even though Bruce is going to rebuild it and probably improve security the Batcave isn't safe any more since Lex, Joker and his entire gang know where it is. The Bunker will provide all the main features such as character creation and replaying missions, with the cave serving more of a support role.

  • Jossed. The Batcave is indeed a hub area, but the Watchtower is where you start off in the open world, and from there you can go to the other locations.

The next LEGO DC game will be a true LEGO Justice League game

Batman learned that he can't only rely on himself and becomes a more active member of the League, that will face of against Brainiac like they teased. The new hub will be the Watchtower.

  • Jossed. The official title is "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham"
    • Un-jossed, in the LEGO Batman 3 is a (somewhat Green Lantern-centric) Justice League game in all but name.
Spoiler was using a voice changer note
Stephanie had been trying out a voice changer in her mask to better conceal her identity. She decided not to keep using it because Robin found it disturbing.

The first "Man of the Year" award interrupted by supervillains was Mr. Freeze trying to kill Ferris Boyle
Vikki Vale mentioned it was the second time supervillains interrupted it. It's not that hard to imagine the first time as an adaption of "Heart of Ice".

The Legion of Doom for Lego Batman 3 will consist of...
  • Lex Luthor - confirmed
  • The Joker - confirmed
  • Brainiac - possible. We know he's in the game, but he's not much of a team player. On the other hand, he was in the original Legion
    • Semi-confirmed. He's not in the Legion.
  • Solomon Grundy - confirmed
  • Deathstroke - Rule of Cool
    • Confirmed
  • Cheetah - PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!
    • Confirmed
  • Bizarro
  • Sinestro
    • Confirmed
  • Gorilla Grodd
    • Confirmed
  • Captain Cold

  • Black Adam

  • Poison Ivy
    • Confirmed
  • Parasite
    • Confirmed
  • Clayface
  • Merlyn

LEGO Batman 3 will have more variety in its characters.
The game involves the Lantern Corps and space. Most of Batman's villains don't really work in space, so the game will need to use villains from outside of Gotham.
  • The point of the game is the focus shift to the entire Justice League and Lantern Corps.
Potential characters for LEGO Batman 3:
  • Green Arrow
    • Stephen Amell alluded to being involved in the game somehow, so it's likely.
    • Confirmed
  • Plastic Man - Confirmed
  • Shazam!
    • Confirmed
  • Metamorpho
    • Jossed
  • Firestorm
  • Some of the Metal Men
  • The Atom
    • Confirmed
  • Doctor Fate
  • Mera
  • Booster Gold
    • Confirmed
  • Blue Beetle
    • Confirmed (In the case of Jaime Reyes)
  • Atrocitus
    • Bleez and a generic Red Lantern enemy are confirmed, so it's likely.
    • Confirmed
  • Larfleeze
    • Confirmed
  • AMAZO
  • Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire
    • A generic Zamaron enemy has been confirmed, so it's likely we'll see at least one Star Sapphire.
  • Indigo-1
    • Confirmed
  • Saint Walker
    • A generic Blue Lantern enemy has been sighted, so it's likely.
    • Confirmed
  • Red Tornado
    • Confirmed

The final boss of LEGO Batman 3 will be Darkseid.
The main villain seems to be Brainiac thus far, but he seems like he's not quite final boss material. Darkseid is very much final boss material.

New Big Figures for LEGO Batman 3
  • Maybe Plastic Man, The Elongated Man, and/or Metamorpho will be able to turn into one.
  • Darkseid
  • Atrocitus
    • Confirmed
  • The Brainiac/Lex Luthor combination.
  • Kilowog
    • Confirmed
  • Arkillo
    • Confirmed
  • The Atom could become one
  • Bane, Croc, and Clayface could transform from their minifig selves into big figs, Hulk-style
    • Confirmed for Croc
      • Semi-confirmed for Croc. He may only be a big fig, as we haven't seen a minifig of him.
    • Confirmed for Bane, too
  • Titan Joker
  • Beast boy could morph into a gorilla to become a big fig.
    • Confirmed
  • Mammoth
  • Lobo
LEGO Batman 4 will be based on Crisis on Infinite Earths
We already had the first LEGO Batman game to be set in Gotham, then in the sequel introduced to the Justice League and the third to Cosmic and in fourth, why not introduce the Multiverse? Also, the game would adapt Crisis on Infinite Earths, but taken it up to eleven, as we see from classic adaptions such as the Classic Live-acton Superman movies, the Pre-21st Century Live-action Batman movies, 1966 Batman, the 70s Shazam Live-action Saturday morning show and more, to numerous alternative worlds in different timelines into the Multiverse such as Ame-Comi, Bombshells, Batman Beyond, DC One Million, Kingdom Come and other universes set in different timelines at space.
  • Also, unlike the first three games, it will feature an All-Star Cast of many voice actors who had worked on numerous works on DC Comics, including Kevin Conroy, George Newbern and Susan Eisenberg as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in the game, as Travis, Troy and Laura would voice some of their alternative counterparts like the 70s Cinematic Superman, '66 Batman (replacing Adam West, as he is dead) and 70s Wonder Woman.
  • Also, how about Peter Cullen, aka his most notable role as a robot named Optimus Prime as the main antagonist of the game, the Anti-Monitor?
  • Then how about more modes, like a Fighting game mode in the vein of Dragon Ball Budokai combined with Tekken and Virtua Fighter with a little Injustice on top?
    • All jossed. The fourth game is titled LEGO DC Super-Villains and is about the villains fighting the Crime Syndicate and Darkseid after the Justice League has disappeared. The Anti-Monitor makes an appearance in the post-credits cutscene, though, so the fifth game in the series might have at least some inspiration from Crisis.
In LEGO Batman 3, the grappling hooks will function more like Spider-Man's web-shooters in LEGO Marvel.
I don't think they'll be able to web swing, but they might be able to pull things like with Spider-Man.
  • Actually, they've been depicted swinging from their grapples before. If TT could make the animations not look ridiculous, it might actually work. Though, for what it's worth, Batman's spacesuit can fly under it's own power, which makes it a bit less likely.
    • There's a bit of a difference between swinging from a grapnel and web-swinging.

Special suits for other characters in Batman 3
Joker:
  • Titan Joker
  • Space suit
  • Scuba Joker

Lex Luthor:

  • Classic purple/green Superfriends look
  • Tech suit (mad scientist lab coat & goggles)
    • A tech suit has been confirmed, but it looks just like a variation of Luthor's typical Warsuit.
  • All-Star Superman green trenchcoat (super powers?)

Joker's '66 skin will have all the abilities of his other suits
Just like Batman and Robin.

     LEGO DC Super-Villains
Batman will make a Call-Back to LEGO Dimensions
Likely mentioning how he's dealt with parallel worlds before (hell he might even have a Vorton Gateway hidden away in the Batcave somewhere for emergencies)

Assuming that the 'Character In Peril' or something like it is still included, the replacement for the late Adam West (RIP) will be...
  • Mark Hamill
  • Kevin Smith
  • Frank Miller
  • No one - Adam will be kept using archive audio as a tribute
  • Starro (except rather than being in peril, he's the one imperiling the citizens by mind-controlling them)
    • All jossed. The 'Character In Peril' mechanic is completely excised from this game and has been replaced with areas where the player must spray graffiti and take a picture.

given his no-longer-starring-but-still-quite-prominent role, the main version of Batman will take some of the abilities from the variants in past games and even a few new ones
Glide (which has been kind of on-again, off-again for the main suit in Lego games), Super sense/Scan (Detective Mode), Illumination (night vision), Tracking (Magnifying glass), Summoning bat swarms to attack enemies (Nolan version), Stealth (just wrapping his cape around himself like Vampire Batman, Batwoman, etc.), Bypassing Toxic Areas with a respirator (like Finn from Lego Star Wars), maybe he'll even be able to change into his BvS armor. come on, TT, wouldn't this be the greatest thing ever?

  • So far gliding, Detective Mode, and night vision are confirmed

A few levels will follow the Justice League trapped in the Syndicate's universe
Potentially leading to an appearance from that world's last surviving hero, Dr. Alex Luthor!

  • In one cutscene shown at SDCC, Harley asks the League where they've been and Wonder Woman says that it's "a long story for another time". Maybe it'll be the focus of some bonus levels? (The ones with comic book pages instead of cutscenes)

    • Jossed. The Justice League turn out to have been teleported to Apokolips, with the bonus levels explaining how they made it back to Earth.

Playable vehicles

The BTAS level will be "Almost Got 'Im"
It being a game about the villains and all
  • Jossed. It's "Mask of the Phantasm".

The Anti monitor will be the Big Bad of a potential sequel
  • I've noticed the Lego Batman series (or Lego DC games in general) seems to hint at the next baddie for the next installment; Brainiac was foreshadowed in Lego Batman 2, Then Darkseid was foreshadowed in Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham so I've noticed a pattern

Alternative Title(s): Lego Batman
