Laserblast is set in Night Vale.
- Actually, the town's in California, and seems a bit small and desolate even for Night Vale. Although it IS a possibility that Gianni Russo's character was working for Strex Corp and wanted to give them the gun.
The amulet and weapon require a living host to operate.
- The amulet may be a security measure of some sort that prevents the weapon from being misused (or being used by robots), and must be worn by the user. However, it is highly incompatible with the human body, and begins to mutate it, causing scarring, physical changes and heightened aggression.
The first gun wielder was also a mutated human.
- The green guy with the gun at the start of the film looks nothing like the turtle aliens, and actually a lot like Billy's later mutant form. How many times have the two turtle aliens killed some poor mutated schmuck and left the gun behind for yet another schmuck to pick up and mutate himself? They don't even pick it up again after killing Billy!
