Requiem is Nebula
Despite being so prevalent in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Nebula has been conspicuously absent in recent comic storylines. Requiem seems to have a personal connection to Thanos, and she is his granddaughter in this universe. The solicit copy for Asgardians of the Galaxy (an Infinity Wars spinoff) #1 also contains a curious tidbit of info:
The events of INFINITY WARS set NEBULA off on a quest to rule the galaxy – wielding an Asgardian weapon even Thor would fear – and it’s up to this team of gods, assassins, frogs and heroes to stop her.

Nebula does appear in her usual attire on the cover the cover of issue #2 but this wouldn't be the first time Marvel has released a fake (or modified) cover to protect spoilers.

  • Jossed.

Requiem is Old Woman Gamora from within the Soul Stone
It's suggested Requiem has some connection to the Soul Stone, and an elderly version of Gamora trapped within has shown up in recent issues of Duggan's Infinity saga, so it's possible.
  • Jossed—it's Gamora, but not Old Woman Gamora.

Requiem is just plain old Gamora
For reasons unknown.
  • Confirmed.

The Champions will show up
Kamala's on the cover of issue 5 and thus is already confirmed. As for the others? They had a tie-in in Infinity Countdown in which Nova's helmet was confiscated by Commander Scott Adsit. Won't the team want to get it back?
