Otome is Dice's mother.
- Began mere minutes after the women's visuals dropped, this theory is massively popular in both Western and Japanese fandom.
- Physical similarities
◊:- Their hair colors are only a few shades of blue-violet apart.
- Both of their eyes have a green streak running through them.
- Otome's age was revealed to be 49, which would put her at about 29 when Dice was born.
- Additionally, 49 is 7 x 7, which would fit with Dice's Lucky Seven theme.
- "Dice" (帝統) and "Otome" (乙統女) share a kanji character.
- A previously popular fan-theory was that Dice came from a rich family and ran away from home. Otome being Dice's mother fits into this theory well. Plus, in the TDD manga, Rei Amayado alludes to a child of Otome's who "ran away".
- Dice is known for his great disdain of white-collared workers. Otome is a government bureaucrat.
- Otome's quote, "I never worry about action, only inaction”, and Dice's quote, "Love the life you live. Live the life you love”, are both centered around one's purpose in life. While Dice's quote is optimistic, Otome's is decidedly not.
- Ramuda, as a government spy, might have recruited Dice to Fling Posse under orders to keep surveillance on Otome's son.
- In the Official Guidebook and its Drama Track, confirmed. Dice's father was a corrupt politician who married Otome as a political marriage. After he was arrested, Dice was taken by Otome under the care of the family of Otome's mother, the Arisugawa family.
- Physical similarities
Ramuda is the only one of Fling Posse to have access to a smartphone on a regular basis.
- Dice is constantly broke and/or begging for money (and so wouldn't be able to sustain any kind of phone plan) and Gentaro's mic is a phone, albeit an old-timey one. If it's anything like Doppo's in that it's his real phone, then it suggests Gentaro sucks at dealing with modern technology (which is quite ironic for Fling Posse, considering their pop sound and reputation of being "trendy"). If Scenario Liar is true, it does feed into this somewhat by suggesting the old couple only had access to older technology, because that's all they could afford.
- It could also be that Gentaro couldn't call for help for his friend (the one in Scenario Liar) because he didn't know how to use the newfangled technology. On the other hand, he's probably been taught (by Ramuda, probably) the basics of selfies and Twitter usage for the fans' sake, although he probably prefers handshakes and/or signing stuff instead.
- Jossed, at least to some degree. In the manga, Gentaro is shown to have a smartphone, while in the anime, Dice has access to a smartphone which he calls Ramuda with for help with some debt. When they use the phones, they both seem to be used to using them. However, in the 3rd liners' soul swap, Dice admits he doesn't get phone service because he couldn't pay it off in time...(Then again, that *is* Gentaro's story we're talking about, so whether this applies to the real Dice can be called into question.)
Chuoku will have abilities.
- A logical conclusion, based on the fact they have speakers and mics. Based on the looks of the speakers, Otome's is probably some kind of time control (probably stopping time), Ichijiku's probably has a small range but is very effective on a single target (like a chain weapon) and Nemu's will be either similar or the inverse to her brother's (because she is explicitly described as "comparable to [Samatoki]" in rap skill in her official description).
