Wild Mass Guessing related to Guardians of the Galaxy (2015), the animated series.

This series is set before Ultimate Spider-Man
  • There have been many hints to how this show is set before Ultimate Spider-Man and the other shows.
    • Titus was still a Nova Corp member before betraying them.
      • He does betray the Nova Corps in "Undercover Angle", and this was the betrayal the Guardians spoke of in their second appearance in Ultimate Spider-Man
    • The Black Order from Avengers Assemble is featured.
    • Thanos wasn't destroyed yet.
    • This is set in the early days of the Guardians, so we have yet to meet a younger version of Sam Alexander.
    • Drax has a strong desire to kill Thanos, but compared to the Avengers Assemble episode "Thanos Triumphant" he had a chance to kill Thanos but didn't. Between the shows he must have exhausted his hatred and let it go. Or lost hope of winning.
    • Ronan was alive in Hulk and The Agents of S.M.A.S.H., but was dead after the Origins webisodes, so his resurrection in Bad Moon Rising made this possible. This also means he has yet to officially retake his place as the Kree Accuser.
    • Nova Corps are still around, but they were killed off by the time of Ultimate Spider-Man.
    • We see how Thor met the Guardians, as he immediately remembered them in the Avengers Assemble episode Guardians and Space Knights

Ronan will kill off Nova Corps
  • In Ultimate Spider-Man, Sam Alexander is all that's left of the Nova Corps, but he never got into detail about how they got killed off. Since Ronan is Back from the Dead, it would make sense that he was the one who killed them off, because he's the one who has a grudge against the Xandarians, yet the planet remained intact, as it was mentioned in Avengers Assemble that Thanos was imprisoned in Xandar.

Titus will escape and get revenge on the Guardians.
  • Given that he did in Ultimate Spider-Man, this is entirely plausible. Or rather, he already did in that episode.

Sam Alexander will get an Origins Episode.
  • Since Nova (Sam Alexander) has claimed to have joined the Guardians on a fair number of adventures, and this series seems set before the rest of the 2010 MAU, it's easy to see the potential of us getting to see Sam join the Nova Corps and possibly even him guest starring numerous times before his recruitment into [[Ultimate Spider-Man the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainee program]].
  • Confirmed in "Back in Black".

Groot is worthy to wield Mjolnir.
  • Why? Because it would be awesome, that's why! ...Also worth noting that the official series summary spoke of Loki appearing, so...
    • Also... he is Groot!

Predictions for Season 2 and possibly beyond...
  • It's pretty clear by now that the series so far is set before the rest of the 2010 MAU, so it's quite possible that the next season will fast-forward the setting closer to Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and Avengers Assemble time frame. Possibilities as a result may include more team-ups with the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees, S.M.A.S.H., and the Avengers. We may see Red Skull acting under the command of Thanos for a few episodes, consequently finally seeing what Thanos actually did with the Tesseract he gave him, and even what drove Skull mad prior to his escape back to Earth. We might even get to see what happened that led to Nick Fury declaring Gamora no longer allowed on Earth.

Rocket's obsession with duct tape will be used as a Brick Joke
