WMG / Dragon: Marked for Death

Go To

The Soul Vessel was created by the Magic Kingdom of Litus
  • The Divine King of Medius mentioned wanting to emulate the Magic King of Litus, who obtained such power that reuniting the dismembered parts of his corpse could have had unknown but potentially disasterous consequences. It's possible that the Soul Vessel armor was unearthed in an ancient tomb, or developed based on Litus' technology. Furthermore, it's even possible that the Divine King himself was wearing it during the initial attack on the Dragonblood Village, as a sort of Dark Lord on Life Support situation.

The Dragonblood Bandit is the Empress' fiancé
  • They have a similar hairstyle underneath the bandit's bandana, and IntiCreates did specifically mention the DLC would flesh out the characters' backstories — specifically mentioning the Empress' betrothed.

The Dragonblood Bandit is Amica... or at least related to her
  • Amica and the Dragonblood Bandit have identical horns, and she has been shown with the same Dragon Scar used by the Dragonblood Bandit.

The Dragonblood Bandit will be added as a DLC character at some point
  • While IntiCreates has mentioned there are no plans for additional characters at this time, they said the same thing about the level cap being raised. Even if the Bandit appears to have been killed, it could be revealed that they miraculously recovered, that their sheer hatred kept them alive/let them come back from the dead a la Jinryu, or that the protagonist chose to spare them.
    • Confirmed! The Dragonblood Bandit is going to be free DLC if players own the DLC pack.
      • And subverted, since the Bandit's story intro makes him out to be "another" Dragonblood Bandit, even though the rest of his backstory seems to say otherwise. Switching to a wind contract makes them virtually identical, however, except for the player's lighter outfit palette.

A member of the Divine Knights will be added as a character
With a series of quests showing the events of the story from their perspective, and them either defecting to side with the Dragonblood Clan or leading the attack on Atruum's den seen in some of the endings.
