Louis Crawford murdered Lute
Given how the manga was canceled after the first chapter, leaving off on a cliffhanger, it stands to reason that Louis didn't rise to Lute's bait, and killed him rather than walk into an obvious trap. Presumably, he went on to alert the other Rebels Against God, and the witch was hunted down too.

Speculation on the characterization and background of the 'Rebels Against God' members
Assuming the manga wasn't canceled in the first place because of the plagiarism controversy.
  • Kilt: A charismatic serial killer who hides behind the façade of a great hero. In his previous life, he was an MMO player who was a chauvinistic Internet Jerk.
  • Honda Yuya: A calm and collected, but mentally disturbed information gatherer and ace-in-the-hole who abuses his time-manipulating cheat for the guild. In his previous life, he was a popular Academic Athlete, but secretly, had disturbing Stalker with a Crush tendencies. He died while stalking a white-haired girl from his high school.
  • Imerda Pinata: An All-Loving Hero hiding the personality of game-Catarina in the source material: A classist Alpha Bitch looks down on the indigenous people, who also controls a group of Girl Posse as her enforcers. In her previous life, she was a frequently bullied girl who suffered abuse from home and school and suffered the worst from men. shaping her into someone who looks down on others.
  • Yukiko Shijo: A Supreme Chef doubling as an evidence destroyer by cooking food from the remnants of their victims and serving it to unwitting folks. In her previous life, she was a horrible chef and a cannibal owning a failing restaurant.
  • Flare: A pyromaniacal fallen deity acting as a destroyer. In her previous life, she was a fallen deity of fire chosen by her reincarnate but usurped the reincarnate and took their place.
  • Anastasia Melokva: A vicious war criminal and tactician for the guild. In her previous life, she was a male soldier who committed several war crimes and was executed after a court-martial. Alternatively, her previous life is a Benevolent Boss of a company who died falling into a traffic trying to save his friend from being hit.
  • Roro Sendinger: A friendly creature that is able to morph between human and monster forms, but is actually a monster with a Might Makes Right mentality as well as The Social Darwinist of the group, that predates on humans and beasts because he is an apex predator. In his previous life, he was probably a very aggressive wild animal that got shot for attempting to attack people.
  • Don Will Dead: A silent member of the guild, who only speaks if necessary, along with being in charge of maintaining the guild's good public image. In his previous life, he was horrifically corrupt Salaryman of a high position who regularly abuses his co-workers and underlings. Died while he was trying to get evidence of his corruption from a former employee that was blackmailing him, get run over by a train.

The Witch is a reincarnate herself.
Possibly a victim of one of the Rebels Against God in their previous lives. Possibly an Expy of Asuna.

The Witch was meant to be the real protagonist.
She was a former member of the Rebels Against God who for one reason or another was banned from the guild. Lute is little to more than a convenient pawn in her renvenge plot.

The Witch was going to be the true Big Bad
The art style surrounding her frames her as immediately suspicious, the way she dismisses the Reincarnates as lowlifes, the fact that she wants Lute to kill the Reincarnates, and the fact that she picked Lute of all people to go on this quest. These and some more indicate that she would have become the final boss who wanted them out of the way for her own ambitions.

There will be Expy versions of characters from other Isekai works.
  • Kumoko from So I'm a Spider, So What?. Instead of survival. She want power and dominance, as well as and endless feast of peoples. posing a significant threat to those around her.
  • Naofumi from The Rising of the Shield Hero. He would be just Erya Uzruth with beast-girl slaves instead of elves.
  • Rudeus Greyrat (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Instead of growing and improving to be a better person. The expy’s motivation is to gain power and go back to his old world to take revenge on the siblings that made him homeless and any one else for slights. As well as doubling-down on his more unsavory mannerisms. In also has death magic as his talent.
The true main villain of the series is the divine force that reincarnated the Rebels Against God.

The "Heroes" Cheat Skills are:

Anastasia Melokva and Don Will Dead will turn out to be Token Good Teammate.
While the “Heroes” are corrupted, evil versions of Isekai good protagonists, Anastasia Melokva and Don Will Dead are actually more Anti-villainous and sympathetic versions of Isekai Villain Protagonist.

The Rebels Against Gods aren’t really reincarnations.
  • They were actually created as powerful weapons to defeat the Demon King and his army by the divine force(after they watch and read Isekai anime and manga) and were given False Memories of their past lives and backgrounds. The witch know the Rebels against Gods are not really reincarnates and just merely creations of the Divine force but she decided to go along with it.
    • in a fit of irony, Lute will be revealed to be the reincarnation of an average NEET and Otaku who loved all kinds of anime and manga except the Isekai genre which he hated and find them “Cliche and Overdone”. The witch is the one responsible for his reincarnation. After he died, The witch take his soul and sent them to her world where he is reborn as an average villager with no memories of his past life.
