The consequences of the mess caused by Akutaro's Frame-Up
It will lead to either...- ... the Blue Genie detecting Arajin and Senya.
- ... Arajin finally letting go of Mahoro and somehow getting a convenient excuse to leave the Siguma Squad.
- ... Arajin being forced in a situation where he HAS to tell Asamine the truth.
- Confirmed with Ichiya the Blue Genie detecting Arajin and Senya. The others are jossed since Arajin still won't give up on Mahoro, is technically still aligned with Siguma Squad and he doesn't tell the truth to Asamine yet...
Matakara's older brother
Asamine's was seen writing a letter for his brother who is seen in a small closed room. The possibilities are:- He is in college elsewhere.
- He is in the juvie. Specifically, while Arajin wimped out when he saw Asamine getting beaten up, aniki went full Knight Templar Big Brother and vengefully beaten them up so badly that he was sentenced in jail. This could also explain why Asamine never mentions the incident in the present.
- Confirmed with juvie. Episode 7 elaborates on his crime saying that he was arrested after beating up a Dirty Cop who was forcing his fellow gang members to sell drugs for him.
Senya's goal
- He most likely seeks to pull a Grand Theft Me on Arajin. Specifically, his genie form itself is most likely only as strong as he was the last time he had a host and cannot grow stronger without training in a human body. Given that he obviously has an unsettled score with the Blue Genie, he most likely lags behind him in power and Arajin happens to be the only available option at the moment.
- Confirmed. Akutaro learns from a Honki scroll that Senya is plotting to take over Arajin's body which is why he's insistent on boosting their merge rates.
Nyan Nyaight Love is Not What It Looks Like.
- Given the cat logo, the cat accessories the receptionist wears, and the fact that 'Jasmine' is never seen nor is her voice heard, they might actually be a cat caffe that grants the customers some time alone to pet and play with a single, super exclusive and possibly pedigreed cat at a time. Would only make the nervous costumer's hesitation to enter each time even more hilarious.
- It really is a brothel who just so happens to cater to Cat Girl lovers, and presumably also have the Cat Boy option, if their receptionist's outfit is anything to go by.
The Jin Siblings will have a Dark and Troubled Past
- At some point in the story, either Marito or Mahoro will explain something tragic that happened to them, like losing their parents, which would put their questionable but comical personalities (Marito being cruel and childish, Mahoro being an incestuous loner) into a more negative light.
A future villain will be a symbol of authority
- If the series gets another season or two, the next villain after Akutaro will be an authority figure, like a police commissioner or city mayor, who wants to control/eradicate the ongoing gang activity of Honki City. Not only will it contrast Akutaro who's a bancho but their presence will challenge the gangs to determine if they can still keep up their carefree gang lives or if they'll be forced to change their old ways.
Other characters, existing or future, will be based on other 1001 Nights characters
- Considering that Arajin and Senya are based on Aladdin and his Genie, it's more than likely that there are other characters who will be based on other existing characters from the 1001 Nights collection. Like Ali Baba, Morgiana, Sinbad or even Scheherazade.
The genies will be defeated/sealed away and the ending will be a Hourglass Plot.
- Arajin and Matakara will finally reconcile and become friends again. Matakara will regain the will to live after the loss of Mitsukuni. Arajin will decide to live on without giving in to his cowardice ever again and seek to become a Honki person again, except this time Arajin will be the one trained by Matakara.
