A Hero and a Garden is a short visual novel clicker game by npckc that has a focus on gardening.
The story begins with a knight named Cyrus trying to save a princess trapped in a tower by an evil witch. However, the rescue doesn't go as planned and the hero ends up destroying the witch's town. In order to make up for all the mess he's made, Cyrus has to rebuild the town by gardening.
Tropes
- Destructive Savior: Cyrus destroys the witch's town after trying to rescue the princess from the tower. The witch then forbids him from leaving the town until he helps rebuild everything he destroyed.
- Healing Herb: Buttonberries are known for their healing properties and human doctors like to make tinctures from them.
- Tongue-Tied: The witch places a spell on Cyrus that prevents him from saying bad things about her and the townspeople. Whenever he tries to do so, the words won't come out.
