Timothy vs. the Aliens is an Action Wide-Open Sandbox game by Wild Sphere.

Timothy is a thug living in Little Fish City with an interesting past. When he was a kid, he was visited by aliens known as "Activists" who told him that he is special, and will be granted a power that will help him save the human race. He received this power in the form of an ace of hearts playing card.

He was also told something about the destruction of Earth, but he kinda tuned them out after the word "power". Then one night, he's roused from his sleep by crashing in his building. He investigates, and soon finds Little Fish City is experiencing a nasty case of Alien Invasion.

Luckily he still has the ACE as he calls it. So, he sets off to save the world.

The game was released on February 26th, 2018.

Timothy Vs. The Aliens contains examples of:

  • Alien Invasion: Little Fish City is being attacked by aliens.
  • Bait-and-Switch: In the intro cutscene, we see what looks to be Timothy pointing his gun at The Grandfather, followed by a Smash to Black with Timothy saying "Bang". The scene then fades in to show he shot The Grandfather's portrait in the forehead.
  • Cyclops: The small aliens in the game have one big eye.
  • Deliberately Monochrome: The world of Timothy is based on old Film Noir movies, so it's constantly saturated in blacks, whites, and greys. Interestingly, the aliens and their tech are all presented in full colours.
  • Extra Eyes: The bigger aliens have six eyes.
  • Eye-Obscuring Hat: Timothy's hat is usually worn in this manner. Though sometimes the camera is angled to show his eyes.
  • Handguns: Timothy starts the game with a revolver.
  • Life Meter: Located in the top left corner of the screen, it shows Timothy's health and ammo.
  • Stab the Picture: In the intro cutscene, we see what looks like Timothy pointing his gun at The Grandfather, followed by a Smash to Black as Timothy says "Bang!". Then the camera fades in and we see a smoking hole in the picture of The Grandfather on the wall behind him.
  • Versus Title: Timothy Vs. The Aliens, of course.
