Whoa, mama! The envelopes have gone missing! Go round them up, I.R.! We can't start the show without them!
Johnny Bravo

The Envelopes, Please! is a 2002 Shockwave game formerly hosted on Cartoon Network's official website.

An award night is being hosted for the Animated Actors of Cartoon Network, but all the envelopes with the awards in them have gone missing, and the show can't begin without them. Backstage, Johnny Bravo enlists I.R. Baboon to go find them, so the show can start.

The game is no longer available to play on Cartoon Network's website, but has been archived by BlueMaxima's Flashpoint, a Web Game preservation project.

The game features characters from:

The tropes, please!:

  • Animated Actors: The characters from Cartoon Network's shows (and a lot of Hanna-Barbera shows, too) are holding an award ceremony. Problem is, the award envelopes have all gone missing, and the show can't be started until they're all found.
  • The Cameo: Professor Utonium can be seen in the crowd as a silhouette during the ending screen of the game.
  • Comfort Food: Scooby is hiding behind a curtain because he’s nervous, presumably about going on stage. A box of Scooby Snacks, found in the back of the Mystery Machine, will calm him right down.
  • Cute Machines: Dexter’s assistant is a small robot that floats in place and makes a cute beeping noise. It has one of the envelopes.
  • Department of Redundancy Department: As expected, Mojo Jojo is in fine form.
I know nothing about the missing envelopes. If I knew, I would tell you, but I don’t, so I will not. For I have nothing to tell. Not that you have asked.
  • Drama Queen: Judy Jetson is being a drama queen and refusing to go on stage until someone brings her roses, so you have to go into the Mayor’s dressing room and steal some roses meant for Ms. Bellum.
  • Food as Bribe:
    • Magilla will trade you a VIP pass for a veggie burger from your platter.
    • Shaggy will take a veggie burger and then give you the key to his dressing room, asking you to leave some in his room for after the show.
  • Mean Character, Nice Actor: Turns out Mojo Jojo (a supervillain), Him (a demon), and Eustace (a Grumpy Old Man) are quite personable when they're off the clock. Though Eustace grumbles about how they didn't need award shows in his day.
  • NPC Roadblock:
    • Eustace won’t let you leave the first room until you show him your VIP pass.
    • Igoo is blocking another door. Talk to Top Cat, and he’ll get the big guy to move.
  • One Crazy Night: Johnny Bravo sends I.R. Baboon on a mission to recover the envelopes with the awards for the nightly show.
  • Retraux: The game uses a slightly pixelated style, the same one used for fellow Cartoon Network game Creep TV.
  • Riddle for the Ages: Why did all the envelopes go missing, anyway? You never find out.
  • Sigil Spam: The then-current Cartoon Network logo (which began use in 1992, and would continue to be used until 2004) appears as background decoration in several rooms.
  • Villains Out Shopping: Him is working as a caterer, and asks you to return his missing tray after you’ve finished serving all the snacks on it.
