Sketch Heads is a drawing game created by Discord which can be accessed from the app's "Activities" menu within voice chat.

The game revolves around players drawing words while others try to correctly guess the words as quickly as possible, and features both competitive and cooperative modes.

Sketch Heads contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Anti-Frustration Features: In Blitz mode, drawers can choose to skip a word if they're having trouble drawing it.
  • Co-Op Multiplayer: In Blitz mode, all players are working together to score as many points for the team as possible by guessing as many words as possible.
  • Hint System: In Classic mode, individual letters of the word will gradually be revealed as the timer ticks, making it easier for players to guess.
  • Sandbox Mode: Free Draw mode allows players to simply draw whatever they want with no objective.
  • Speedrun Reward: In Classic mode, the sooner you guess a word, the more points you get.
  • Timed Mission:
    • In Classic mode, players have 90 seconds to guess the word being drawn if they want to earn any points. Once the first player successfully guesses, the timer reduces to 30 seconds.
    • In Blitz mode, the timer lasts a set number of minutes, and players must score as many points as possible within that time.
  • Video Game Perversity Potential: There are no in-game moderation features beyond what Discord as a whole already has, so Discord simply advises people to "be careful who [they] play with" regarding inappropriate drawings.
