SALVATOR is an Arcade Shooter Video Game by Artur Rezende.
Shadow beings have taken the souls of every living being on Earth, and has sealed them all in asteroids floating in space. Luckily, the angel SALVATOR is around to free these souls so they can return to Earth.
The game was released on May 3rd, 2018.
SALVATOR contains examples of:
- Asteroids Monster: Much like in Asteroids, these asteroids break apart when attacked until they're small enough to be destroyed. They release a soul that returns to Earth once they're destroyed.
- BFS: SALVATOR wields a sword that looks like it's longer than he is tall.
- One-Word Title: SALVATOR.
- Protagonist Title: SALVATOR is the Player Character of the game.
- Scoring Points: You gain 10 points for each soul returned to Earth.
- Shock and Awe: SALVATOR's special attack has him unleash a field of lightening around his body, destroying every asteroid within it. He uses it upon reaching a level 6 combo.
- Soul Jar: All the asteroids have souls in them. SALVATOR needs to destroy the asteroids to release them.
- Spread Shot: SALVATOR gains this after reaching a certain combo.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: SALVATOR seems to only wear a black pair of pants.
- Winged Humanoid: SALVATOR is a humanoid angel with black wings.
