Created by Mr Pixel, most famously known for his Sonic.EXE: One More Saga games, One Last Funk is a mod for Friday Night Funkin' that ties in with the game and other projects by Mr Pixel, where Boyfriend goes up against the titular monster. As he'll soon discover, however, his fighting chances are slim...

The mod itself eventually got cancelled due to a lack of motivation from Mr Pixel, though is currently under a rework to be fully finished. What was completed is available from the download link above.

Song List

  • One More Song (Lurking Cover) (Sonic.OMT vs. Boyfriend)
  • Not so Fast (Sonic.OMT vs. Boyfriend)
  • Friends Meeting (Sonic.OMT vs. Tails)

April Fools' Day Build

  • Friends Meeting (Anti-Mr. L and Anti-OMT vs. Tails and Anti-X.nes)

This mod contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Art Shift: "One More Song" and "Not so Fast" are rendered in the art style seen in the games. "Friends Meeting" is still rendered in a more high-definition and detailed artstyle, though.
  • Body Horror: Considering this is OMT, this is a given, with him taking on many horrifying forms in his poses throughout both of the first two songs. "Friends Meeting", on the other hand, has him sport bloodshot eyes and a sinister Slasher Smile in his poses instead, at least during the early reveal.
  • Break the Cutie: Upon witnessing Girlfriend get killed, Boyfriend's confident smirk disappears as he sheds tears and glares at OMT hatefully all throughout.
  • Doomed by Canon: Girlfriend is killed off at the beginning of "One More Song", and Boyfriend is not too happy about this. Considering how powerful OMT is in general, it's clear Boyfriend won't be making it out of this one either.
  • Double-Meaning Title: The title of the mod comes both ways; first how it's noting who the player's facing off against in this mod, and second, the Foregone Conclusion known right off the bat to BF and GF.
  • Hopeless Boss Fight: OMT's favorite tactic, in lieu of The Many Deaths of You, is making you feel completely outmatched. The atmosphere of his song is as oppressive as can be, and he doesn't even bother letting the health bar move past the halfway point to hammer it in from the word go that you could never come close. While the latter isn't present in the cancelled build, the oppressive atmosphere in all three songs conveys hopelessness at its peak.
  • Me's a Crowd: In the different sections of "One More Song", corrupted clones of Tails, Knuckles and Robotnik all appear to spectate the song, moving to the beat Girlfriend would've normally been doing.
  • Shout-Out: One set of vocals in "Not so Fast" is directly based off the first lines of the base game's "Winter Horrorland".
