Complete tasks AND fight nature!
Lumberhill is an indie action party game developed by ARP Games and published by All In! Games and released on June 13, 2021 for Steam and Nintendo Switch.

In the game a series of players take on the role of lumberjacks who are tasked with the simple goal of cutting down trees and throwing them into a mill for logging. Making your job not so simple are wildfires, pirates, and other forces of nature such as the wild animals that don't take kindly to you destroying their home. The game is wrapped up in a very cartoony and slapstick style of narration.

Tropes:

  • Bears Are Bad News: One of the enemies that the player encounters in the woods are bears, who attack the players as soon as they make eye contact.
  • Mighty Lumberjack: Your player character is a typical lumberjack who can swing an axe with ease and drag a felled tree with little to no effort.
  • Prehistoria: Dinosaurs appear as enemies in one world of the game.
  • Santa Claus: He is one of the selectable playable characters.
  • Wreaking Havok: The game makes use of a ragdoll physics engine, such as the player characters being able to heft fallen trees with no effort, and clumsily swinging at trees being enough to knock them down.
