Luigi's Misadventures is a series of Super Mario World ROM Hacks by Roberto Zampari.
This series contains examples of:
- Cliffhanger: Luigi's Misadventures 3 ends with the Galactic Kids Next Door announcing their invasion of Earth.
- Crossover: Starting with the third installment, the series is one with Codename: Kids Next Door
- Green Hill Zone: The setting of the first world of the third game is a peaceful grassland.
- Revisiting the Roots: The fifth hack came out in 2023, and didn't involve the KND.
- Sequel Escalation: The first 2 games started out more simple. The third game added the Kids Next Door, and the fourth game has the Galactic Kids Next Door as its villain.
- Shout-Out: World 2's boss in Misadventures 3 is a spriteswapped Mana Beast.
- One of the Special World levels in the third game is a reference to Baldi's Basics.
