Go To

Kreadian Funk (formerly known as Vs Dracobot) is a Friday Night Funkin' mod created by Dracobot/SnowyBraviary, featuring the original character of the same name. It was previously in development with a public early access demo released, but the mod has since been trashed, with the reason from their creator being that they don't want to associate with FNF anymore; their accounts rendered abandoned and/or deleted.

Tropes:

  • All There in the Manual: Within the filesnote  of the mod are some "z-files" that detail some trivia about Dracobot and his backstory, including a newspaper and a report file from Dr. Isha, Dracobot's creator. Dracobot was originally a human teenager named Omar Williams who died from an unintentional murder by his sister Aya, who soon after committed suicide out of grief. Both he and his sister were given new life with the DO1 and DA1 models, respectively known as Dracobot and Dracabot, while having their past memories, including of the incident and their former pet dog, erased — except Dracabot, who retained her memories of the events, promising Isha to keep it all a secret.
  • Amnesia Missed a Spot: While Dr. Isha is successful in purging the memories of Omar, Aya wasn't so lucky, retaining her memory of murdering her own brother. Because of this, at a later date, Dracabot suffered a mental breakdown — clawing at herself until she bled oil until Isha came in to comfort and repair her.
  • Barefoot Suicide: Briefly alluded to at the start of Dracobot's week, with a pair of shoes and a note in the visible in the background (normally unseen in-game due to GF's speakers throughout the week).
  • Company Cross References: To CMC+, a modpack for Super Smash Bros. Crusade that introduced Dracobot, Olevadon and Nacidio as fighters, which the director also had a hand in making. Thus, several references and direct Shout Outs to the game and/or mod-pack are made:
    • The "3, 2, 1, GO!" is sampled from Crusade's own countdown announcer (prior to 0.9.4, in which the latest version of CMC+ is built off the earlier Crusade build).
    • The notice for unlocking Freeplay songs is a recreation of the fighter unlock notices, complete with a date and time documented.
    • Spirit compares Dracobot to Magma Dragoon as an insult. In CMC+, X's Arcade Mode features a red-colored Dracobot as a stand-in representative for the maverick.
  • Cover Version: Freeplay song "Dragonsnaps" is a remixed cover of "Thorns" from the vanilla game. Like with "Error 404", this song is against a Spirit-possessed Dracobot.
  • Cryptic Background Reference: When first meeting Dracobot on a roof, Girlfriend takes note of the body tape near the air vents, alongside a pair of shoes with a note, questioning if a Murder-Suicide occurred on the roof. Dracobot has no clue over the implied incident, at most expressing surprise that it's all left as is. The incident in question relates to his death back when he was human, but he has since forgotten the incident and prior life upon becoming Dracobot due to his creator/mother purging that memory.
  • Double Entendre: Olevadon is a round Cartoon Creature who's predominantly blue. Boyfriend naturally attempted (in his own speech) to make the obvious joke, but Dracobot is quick to cut him off.
Dracobot: Yeah, they come in different colors but cool colors are common in colder areas.
    Boyfriend: Ba-
Dracobot: Not a perfect time to make a blue balls joke, broski.
  • Haunted Technology:
    • After the events of Week 6 from the vanilla game, Girlfriend threw her copy of Hating Simulator into the garbage, which was then found by Dracobot rooting through the garbage before the events of his week. The robotic dragon would later suffer possession by Spirit due to playing the game via his built-in disk reader.
    • On another note, Dracobot mentions in Olevadon Week how the black diamond in his torso is where his soul is contained, recalling Dr. Isha's word on how he along with his sister were originally human in their past lives, with them being made to cope with the loss of their children. As the z-files within the mod further elaborates, inside the diamond is the soul of Omar Williams, Isha's son, with Dracobot being created to give Omar another chance at life after being brutally killed by his sister.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: Both Dracobot and Dracabot have had their memories of their past as Omar and Aya wiped clear by their creator/mother, in an attempt to give them a burden free second chance at life. Though, only Dracobot seems to have no recollection of past events; his sister meanwhile still retains her memories of killing his brother, but promises Isha to keep it a secret.
  • Lost Pet Grievance: The William family originally had a pet dog, who died to an unexplained accident long ago. Dr. Isha's reports suggests that the loss of their pet resulted in Aya lashing out at Omar, accidentally killing him via open ventilation.
  • Murder-Suicide: Discussed by Girlfriend in the opening cutscene for Dracobot's week, in response to evidence of a Barefoot Suicide and a Chalk Outline on the roof. It's the case of Owen being the murdered and Aya being the murderer. The murder of Owen was unintentional on Aya's part, though the following suicide was intentionally done out of grief.
  • Newspaper Backstory: Found in the files is an image of a newspaper: detailing the death of two siblings via open vent turbines and a suicide.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Spirit uncharacteristically roasts Dracobot as he wrestles control, Boyfriend is quick to call them out for their treatment of the dragon in pure English. Spirit is naturally taken aback by Boyfriend Suddenly Speaking, as the latter from their POV only spoke in beeps and bops in both this week and back in Hating Simulator until this point.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The theme that plays when you pause the game is an arrangement of "Type-B" from Tetris.
    • Dracobot's sad portrait is akin to SpongeBob sporting a comically sad expression in the "Christmas Who?" episode.
    • Spirit's go-to insult directed towards Dracobot is calling him a dollar store Mega Man maverick, going even farther with the description of "a pissed-on Magma Dragoon."
  • Tempting Fate: When Dracobot is experiencing pain after the first song, Girlfriend worries about this being another phase three cliche, akin to what happened to Hex. The same cliche does indeed happen, this time thanks to Spirit possessing Dracobot.
