- Blue Is Heroic: Ryu was shown with blue jeans and he must defeat Geshita and save the women he kidnapped.
- Damsel in Distress: Geshita kidnapped six women and the heroes must save them.
- Hero Protagonist: Ryu fights alongside Ko to save the hostages from Geshita.
- Light Is Good: One of the protagonists is shown in a white tanktop in the Japanese flyer and is out to stop Geshita.

- No Name Given: The only named characters are Ryu and Ko for the heroes and Geshita for the Big Bad. Nobody else in the game is named.
