Boyfriend and Girlfriend were having a nice day at the carnival until Boyfriend's sudden urge to rap against someone began to rise. He quickly dragged Girlfriend into the circus tent to find his new opponent, not knowing the type of characters he would meet inside.
Friday Night Clownin
is a mod made by lostinstruments and a few friends of his, pip.scampi and Grim, with one week currently available and 5 more weeks in the works. It features three songs, each song by a different opponent, from Perci the Mime, a nervous pessimist who sings Bitch, the cheerfully nice Lester the Clown who sings Calm, and the creepy-looking Maddox who sings Germ, the latter of which is a massive ass.

This mod contains the following tropes:
- Call-Back: Much like Tankman in the main game, Maddox calls Girlfriend's dress ugly.
- The Eeyore / Perpetual Frowner: Perci doesn't to be in any mood other than gloomy.
- Jerkass: Maddox, who according to his introductory cutscene is often involved with fights, and almost immediately starts antagonizing Boyfriend and calls Girlfriend a bitch.
- Ladies and Germs: The phrase is referenced in the last song, "Germ".
- Lean and Mean: Maddox is the tallest and leanest of week 1's opponents, and is a jerk.
- Monster Clown: Maddox certainly looks the part, with a psychotic grin and reptilian eyes, but is more of a jerk then anything.
- Tricky from Madness Combat is in the audience though.
- Nice Mean And In Between: Lester is Nice, Maddox is Mean, and Perci is In-Between.
- Non-Ironic Clown: Lester, natch.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Maddox riles Boyfriend so much the latter not only talks, but called the former a bitch.
- Sequel Hook: There's a total of 6 planned weeks, and Maddox's cutscene mentions someone named Squib, who's a Mitski fan according to him, and the ringmaster is mentioned throughout the week.
- Voice of the Legion: Maddox can do this via his speakers, represented by his side of the chart going all out on Button Mashing, especially towards the end of Germ.
