Caltron 6 in 1 is an unlicensed multicart developed for the Nintendo Entertainment System by Caltron Industries, a Taiwanese studio, and released in 1992. The cartridge consists of six games, all of which are clones of other games.

  • Cosmos Cop: A 3D-Shoot-Em-Up that looks and plays similar to Space Harrier.
  • Magic Carpet 1001: A scrolling shooter with a Middle-Eastern theme.
  • Balloon Monster: A direct clone of the classic arcade game Buster Bros.
  • Adam & Eve: A two-player platform game where players must fly through levels and kill snakes by bursting balloons tied to their heads, based more on the game Balloon Fight then the story of that name in The Bible
  • Porter: A puzzle maze game where the player has to move crates into specifically marked places on the level.
  • Bookyman: A clone of the maze arcade game Crush Roller.

The cart by itself is one of the rarest NES carts, but even rarer is the version released by Myriad. When Caltron was going out of business, leftover carts were given to a company called Myriad, who did nothing more than put a sticker on the cartridge.

Tropes found in this cartridge:

  • Ambiguous Gender: The player characters in Adam & Eve are both genderless blobs. Calling the pink character "Eve" is more of a stretch.
  • "Arabian Nights" Days: The direct theme of Magic Carpet 1001 is a Middle-East setting where the main player character flies on a magic carpet.
  • Blatant Lies: Eventually, the Caltron cart put a label on the game's cover that said "Hot selling!"
  • Magic Carpet: The title object of Magic Carpet 1001.
  • Nintendo Hard: Magic Carpet 1001 is absolutely brutal the more the game goes on. In addition, many have not managed to get past Level 3 of Porter.
  • Shifting Sand Land: The setting of Magic Carpet 1001.
  • Shoddy Knockoff Product: True for all of the games but Magic Carpet 1001.
  • Tutorial Level: The first level of Porter is designed only just to teach the player how to play the game. There are four boxes with the area they must be pushed to directly ahead.
