A Prestige Tree Mod About Merging is an Idle Game made in The Modding Tree by Despacit released in 2021. As the name suggests, you have to merge things to make them go up a tier and multiply point production. Points are spent on work which can be spent on mergeables. Once you reach a high enough Mergeable Score based on the tiers of mergeables, you unlock more layers. It is playable on Itch.io.

This game provides examples of:

  • A.I.-Generated Economy: Reaching a high enough Mergeable Score unlocks automation for buying in mergeable slots and merging.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Each layer has a specific color.
    • Merge: Green
    • Gild: Orange
    • Merge Prestige: Blue
    • Treasures: Yellow
    • Scrap: Gray
  • Color-Coded Item Tiers: Each mergeable tier has a different color. These may change over playthroughs, like how tier 7 is purple once but becomes maroon and another time brown.
  • Diminishing Returns for Balance: Points are divided based on how much current work and potential work you have, which are both produced from points.
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: This is a Prestige Tree mod and it has merging.
  • Export Save: You can press the "Export to clipboard" button to get the 6KB+ save and paste it into a pop-up window.
  • Quantity vs. Quality: Generally more mergeables with a lower tier are going to provide a bigger multiplier than one with a high tier, but you still need to merge them as space is limited and the difference between tiers gets bigger as they increase. Gilded mergeables' effects are generally better with one with a high tier as they provide a higher max level to the Better Mergeables buyable, but having more ones with a low tier provides a stronger multiplier to work.
  • Random Drop: Once you unlock the Treasures layer, you have a 20% chance to get a Grimoire with a gilded merge and a 1% to get a Normal Resource with every normal merge.
