This doughnut shop and bakery are not what you expect.
Voodoo Doughnuts was founded by Kenneth Pogson and Richard Shannon in 2003 and was originally smaller and more local in the city of Portland, eventually, they expanded all over the West Coast, Thailand (briefly), and Universal Studios locations. They are known for pioneering the idea of combining crushed ordinary food with doughnuts.
They have been a staple of pop culture due to being outrageous and almost offensive at times and someone died when attempting to do a doughnut challenge they originally offered until 2016.
They also have a record label called Voodoo Doughnut Recordings which hosts artists that reference the company and it's products, but this was short-lived.
If you ever travel to Portland, you’ll likely visit this place first.
