Creola Katherine Johnson (nee Coleman, April 26, 1918-February 24, 2020) was an American mathematician and NASA employee whose calculations during the Space race helped the agency get to the moon. She did calculations for Mercury 7 and the Apollo program.

She was married to James Goble and Jim Johnson and she had three children.

Johnson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama in 2015 for her work.

Johnson died in 2020 at the age of 101.
