• Acting for Two: Benedict Cumberbatch voices both Doctor Strange Supreme, and the alternate good Doctor Strange that tries to stop him. The two meet in the climax of the episode, before the ensuing fight results in them merging back into one again.
• Approval of God: Scott Derrickson, director of the first Doctor Strange film, saw an early cut of this episode, and thought it was terrific. Derrickson’s co-writer C. Robert Cargill echoed those statements.
• Creator Backlash: While A.C Bradley considers this episode her best work for Season 1 so far, she regrets referring to Christine Palmer's death as an "Absolute Point", as had she'd known about the events of Loki, she would've called it a Nexus Event instead to establish some continuity between that series and this one.
• Creator's Favorite Episode: Showrunner A.C. Bradley and director Bryan Andrews consider this episode to be one of their favorite stories of the first season. Jeffrey Wright also thoroughly liked this episode, and listed it as one of his favorites.
• Role Reprise: Leslie Bibb makes a cameo as Christine Everhart, where she reports on one of the ways Christine Palmer dies when Strange is trying to save her early in the episode.
• Word of God: O'Bengh is identified as Cagliostro in other media.
