Role-Ending Misdemeanor: "Cowboy" Bill Watts fired him for missing a flight. He's never had a run in a major promotion since.

Breakup Breakout: Was on the short end of this to his brother Scott. Ironically during the time that he and Scott were a tag team, he was considered the more interesting of the two. After the team broke up however, Rick lost the feud with Scott soundly, floundered in the upper midcard for a while, and then turned heel. Although he had decent face charisma, as a heel he was a heat vacuum.
