- Creator Backlash: Masato Inui, the current showrunner for SASUKE and having been a major director during Banzuke as well, is not fond of the lax safety attitude (if it was there at all) during the show's run that eventually led up to the Power Island accident.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: There are no DVD sales of the show, no VHS, nothing. Recordings of the show and its successors, along with the G4 footage, are all that remains to watch the event, and TBS copyright makes sharing the footage difficult.
- Missing Episode: There is no known footage of the Power Island episode that got the show cancelled when two contestants suffered terrible accidents while challenging it. Considering that the accidents happened during the filming of the event, it's not surprising that none have appeared, beyond pictures of the course taken before it was torn down. What is truly known about the event is that it was one of Banzuke's mid-sized outdoor challenges, bearing an "Ancient, exotic temple" theme, with a total of 34 contestants scheduled to take on the course, though it remains unknown if anyone was able to complete it before the accidents, or if everyone was even able to attempt the course before the accidents.
