• What Could Have Been
  • The show was originally planned as a live-action adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga Majin Garon.
  • Three Devil Beasts are known to have been designed for the show but did not appear: Ancient Devil Beast Bamboss, Great Whirlwind Devil Beast Greeder and Typhoon Devil Beast Vibron.
• Working Title: The eponymous hero was first designed as "Green Man" before changing to Thunder Mask.
