• Alan Smithee: Director Bo Arne Vibenius is credited under the pseudonym "Alex Fridolinski".
• Banned in China: This film was banned in Sweden, its country of origin, due to its hardcore sex scenes, its violent content and its controversial use of a cadaver for the Eye Scream scene.
• Creator Backlash: Christina Lindberg does not look back fondly on Thriller or any of the various sexploitation films and nude photoshoots she did around that time, saying that she was uncomfortable with the amount of sex and nudity involved and only took such roles to pay for her education.
• Money, Dear Boy: Vibenius had no illusions about what kind of movie he was making. He called it "a commercial piece of shit" and purportedly only did it to raise money for his real passion: Making children's movies!
• She Also Did: Christina Lindberg, who played Madeleine, is nowadays better known as a journalist, most notably writing for the Swedish aviation magazine Flygrevyn alongside her then-husband Bo Sehlberg.
