• Corpsing: The Sally in the video store is trying hard not to smile as she crawls backwards.
• Dawson Casting: The actors ages aren't really known, but with nudity by most it's obvious they were all older than the teenagers they are portrayed to be. The characters are supposed to be in high school, as shown at the beginning of the movie.
• For most of the actors, this was their only film.
  • Bonnie Bowers (Stacy, the female survivor) went on to be a musician.
• Was filmed in New York state, just north of New York City. The high school scenes were filmed at Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg, New York and the woods was Tallman Mountain State Park in Palisades, New York.
