  • As Himself: French comedian Djimo appears as a police officer (also named Djimo) at the beginning of the movie.
  • Channel Hop: The first film was distributed by Mars Distribution for France and The Weinstein Company in the USA, and was theatrically released. This one is streamed on Netflix worldwide.
  • Completely Different Title: The original French title, Loin du Périph, translates to English as "far from the ring road." This was a play on the title of the original film, De l'Autre Côté du Périph ("on the other side of the ring road," the "ring road" in question being the boundary between Paris and its banlieues).
    • The Portuguese title translates as "opposites always attract."
  • Genius Bonus: The Sons of Clovis are named after a Frankish (Germanic) king named Hlodowig—Latinized as Clovis—who is considered by some to have been the first king of France.
  • Hollywood Hype Machine: Well, Netflix hype machine. The movie exists mainly as a result of Netflix throwing its weight behind Omar Sy after the big worldwide success of Lupin.
