Warning: Spoilers on this page are unmarked.

  • Creator's Favorite: One of the many running gags on the blog is Mod J shipping himself with Leon.
  • Podcast: Radio Ronpa is one where many of the named anons talk about their characters, the blogs, and other information. Not spoiler free.
  • Recursive Fanfiction: Ask The New Hope's Peak, a continuation blog for Danganronpa 3 created by Vesperlord, features many of the characters who debuted in The Predespair Kids. With the universal consistencies between them, it's been suggested that follows the Alternate Timeline where Mukuro didn't pull her Heel–Face Turn and events played out much like they did in canon.
  • Series Hiatus: The story was placed on hiatus for about a month, from January 14th to February 13th, 2017. This is because Mod J was trying to avoid spoilers for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, which are annoyingly prevalent on Tumblr thanks to dataminers and the fact that not all of the fandom was trying to wait for a western release, until he played the game for himself. Since the western release is confirmed for this year, he calculated the hiatus should end sometime between March and July. However, a change in his software prevented him from using the extensions that blocked spoilers, and a lot of details about the game had been spoiled for him anyway, so he decided there was really no point anymore.
  • What Could Have Been: Mod J has confirmed that there were multiple possible outcomes for the Fall of Hope's Peak. These included different deaths.
    • Peko killing Mahiru after Mahiru tries to attack her in a fit of despair
    • Leon getting killed by Mondo after Ryouko accidentally spreads a rumour she heard from Celes about Leon and Taka being intimate with each other.
    • Sonia being killed by Kazuichi and then Kazuichi being killed afterwards in the same fashion Celes was.
    • Kyouko being killed by Ibuki as an instruction from Junko, and then Ibuki being killed afterwards.
  • Word of God: Half the information about the named anons comes that way, from their creators.
